Nice! I was working on something similar myself (but as a separate page rather than built into the forum page itself). I definitely like this and will be using it myself, thanks for sharing it!

Edit: One thing that would be nice for you to add by default is that when you press the "On" button it to preview what you already have in the textarea (otherwise you have to type something else in it to get the preview.
