This forum needs more pizza. Especially cheese. But on a on-topic note I think we should be allowed to customize our profile with CSS. |

/nosupport. You can get trolls who place a position:fixed; top:0; right:0; z-index: 99999; type overlay filled with annoying stuff, which hides all official nav bar stuff. and if your not technically savvy enough to know how to remove the overlay, you can't even report. Plus the amount of hurts-my-soul profiles that would happen would not be worth the few cool ones. Standard forum syntax + images is fine. |

Fewfre a dit : I mean they could limit the css. Only certain HTML tags can be styled by a user. |

cheesezwheel a dit : that what color / underline / etc are for; limiting the css to intuitive uses. And what tag is used doesn't matter; with CSS you can may a <span> act just like a <div>. My main concern is this wouldn't offer much extra good vs bad; and limiting a new forum feature only to profile seems kinda pointless to me vs other suggestions that have been given. |

It's quite easy to prevent anything from being abused on the rest of the page by simply putting it inside a frame of some kind, so it's not completely crazy. Personally I think it'd be better to have more BBCodes to customise things with (webfonts and background colours would solve most of the things people would use the CSS for), which would have the benefit of being 100% under control of Atelier's web dev, and be useful for styling forum posts too. |
