Welcome to FallowClan! We are a fun, loving and new clan, open for recruiting! Winterstar Leaders W.I.P There were once three clans; BoulderClan, ShineClan, and CloudClan. BoulderClan had a leader named Cloverstar who started the war to take over the clans. When Sagefang, a she-cat, saw her mate, Scorchblaze being attacked by a ShineClan warrior named Whiteflake, she immediately jumped into the action. Scorchblaze told Sagefang to follow him. While padding away, Scorchblaze fell down because he was weak from his injuries and died. His last words told Sagefang to run far and wide. Sagefang did so; she padded very far away from the territories. She had to spend a dangerous night in the middle of nowhere. During her sleep, she had a vision that there was a large grassland with a pond and a few trees where fallows lived. When she woke up, she continued her journey. She found her destination. She was in the grassland when suddenly, she was kitting with nobody to help! A few fallows approached her. Sagefang was afraid they would harm her. Instead, the fallows gave her gentle licks and encouraged her while kitting. Sagefang gave birth to three kits. The fallows lead Sagefang and her newborn kits into a few tunnels where other cats lived. There were two grown cats there named Poppy and Eagle. Poppy had four kits. Sagefang told them about her journey and clan life. They all agreed to follow the path of a clan and together, they became FallowClan. Full Story: Cats were yowling. Blood was spilling pools of terror. Eyes narrowed with great fury. The war was chaotic. Three clans; ShineClan, CloudClan, and BoulderClan were at war. BoulderClan's evil leader, Cloverstar, wanted to take over the clans. She wanted to unite them into one clan; CloverClan. All warriors and apprentices of BoulderClan were forced into combat. A warrior named Scorchblaze from BoulderClan was against his leader's plans... "Cloverstar, we must retreat! BoulderClan will die off if this war continues! The other clans don't seem to care about killing all of our cats." Scorchblaze cried to his leader. A warrior from ShineClan, Whiteflake, pounced onto Scorchblaze. Whiteflake got the tom pinned down. Struggling with fear, Scorchblaze managed to leave a scratchmark on Whiteflake's wrist. "Say goodbye!" Whiteflake whispered into Scorchblaze's ear. "Cloverstar. help!" Scorchblaze gasped as Whiteflake's claws were dug deep into his throat. Cloverstar stared blankly at Scorchblaze and narrowed her eyes. Cloverstar smirked at the sight of his death and desperate calls. Scorchblaze's mate, Sagefang, appeared into the scene. Her bold eyes stared into Whiteflake's claws. She let out a battle cry and she rammed into him. Whiteflake fell over. Sagefang's beautiful eyes met with Whiteflake's. "Follow me!" Scorchblaze called out to his mate. He began padding far off. Scorchblaze didn't look back to see if Sagefang was following him. Suddenly, the poor tom collapsed to the ground, coughing. His throat was bleeding. They were far off from the battlefield, but in safety. Sagefang caught up with him, her eyes gleaming with pity. "Scorchblaze, are you okay?" Sagefang whispered into his ear, giving his throat a few licks. "Run, Sagefang. BoulderClan is no place for cats like you. Run far and wide." Scorchblaze mumbled, his eyes closing. "Scorchblaze," Sagefang meowed, "Scorchblaze!" She meowed louder, bursting into tears. Sagefang's eyes were watering. She clenched her teeth together, endless tears flowing out of her green eyes. "No. No. No! Scorchblaze, wake up!" Sagefang cried, snuggling her chin over his head. 'Run far and wide... Far and wide... Far and wide...' Scorchblaze's last words echoed in Sagefang's mind. With nothing else to do, Sagefang began padding away in tears. She didn't decide where to go. But, Sagefang knew her real destiny lies ahead. She needs to follow her destiny no matter how far it is. She needs to run far and wide. The leaves and twigs crackled beneath her pads. She began skipping and hopping. Sagefang didn't stop. 'Run far and wide...' Scorchblaze's voice echoed again in her mind. Sagefang stopped running at a hill. She sat down in her place. She realized she was far from the clans now. But, she wasn't finished. Sagefang needed a break. She shut her eyes. Ashes of darkness clouded the she-cat's vision. She was worn out and tired. Sagefang drifted off to sleep, exhausted. 'Run far and wide...' Scorchblaze's words echoed in darkness. Sagefang tried to move. She can't. She can't see anything. She can't feel herself. She suddenly spotted herself in a grassland with a pond. There were a few trees. A fallow deer was taking a drink of water. A few other fallows went after it. There were males, females, even little fawns following their mothers. The area was crowded with fallows. The vision stopped. Sagefang kept blinking. She woke up in that spot she fell asleep. She remembered her dream like it actually happened. She remembered all of the details of the fallow drinking, how they moved, how many little fawns were within them. She got up and started stretching. She licked her arms down to her paws. Her gray fur was completely sleek from her chest to her arms. She reached down to her belly to groom there. Once she finished, Sagefang got up. Her stomach growled with hunger. She stuck her nose to the ground and scented a nearby finch. She looked up to the nearest tree. The finch was pecking at it's wing feathers and keeping them straight. Sagefang crept up the tree. The fat finch hardly noticed. Sagefang pounced onto it, biting it's spine. The bird died, leaving Sagefang with the perfect meal. She brought down her finch. She thought about Scorchblaze once again. 'Sagefang, you are a beautiful she-cat. You've been nothing but kind to me, so I'll be nothing but kind to you. Will you be my mate?' Sagefang remembered the exact words Scorchblaze used to ask her to be his mate. Sagefang teared up again. She began crying over the loss of her mate. She sniffled as she took a bite from her finch. She held back the rest of her tears to eat her finch. Once Sagefang wolfed down her finch down to the bone, she began padding some more. She stretched her legs further than she did last time. 'Run far and wide...' Scorchblaze's words echoed in her mind again. Sagefang padded up the hill. It had many slippery rocks, strands of grass, and levels of boulders. She hopped on each boulder and padded on each rock and strand of grass. When she finally reached the top, she saw nothing else but many trees. Sagefang wondered if this paradise was her destination. She sat down for a rest and closed her eyes. The fresh, humid air sent a gust of wind against her soft fur. Sagefang didn't run far and wide enough, she just had the feeling there was more padding to do. Sagefang skidded downhill to the forest. The trees shadowed her path. Sagefang darted through the trees. There were so many, that the running felt like it was going to go on endlessly. Sagefang stopped in exhaustion to take a break. She sniffed around for nearby water. She twitched her ears to the sound of a rushing river. She began following the noise. She spotted it. She began padding the rest of her way to the river. She bent down and began lapping up the water. After Sagefang finished her drink and made dirt, she continued her padding. After the long day, she found it. The very grassland she spotted in her vision. The very pond surrounded by sand, rocks, and dirt. The very trees that Her gray fur was completely sleek from her chest to her arms. She reached down to her belly to groom there. The very pond surrounded by sand, rocks, and dirt. The very trees that had fallows roaming the area. Smiling with joy, Sagefang padded the rest of her way to the few trees. Sagefang stopped to the pain in her belly. Was this so? Was Sagefang... Kitting?! Yowling to get help, Sagefang collapsed. She was in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of nobody. Would Sagefang die in her destination? Would her kits survive alone? Sagefang heard the stomping of a fallow. A large male approached her. The fallow looked down to her. Sagefang was very scared. The fallow was much bigger than she thought they are. The male's fierce eyes narrowed down to her sight. He approached her closer. Sagefang yowled again, her heart pounding. Was this it? Did she run far and wide only for a large male deer to kill her? At that moment, the fallow was very close to her. His eyes bored into her's. Sagefang stared into his eyes. The fallow let out a gentle rumbling noise. He lifted up his head and let out a call. A female fallow galloped to the male's side. She stared at Sagefang with a confused expression. The male seemed to understand that Sagefang was kitting; her belly was round, and she was on the ground, yowling. The male fallow bent down to lick Sagefang's face. "Help me, please..." Sagefang begged. The fallows seemed to understand the cat's words. A few more fallows galloped to Sagefang. She was surrounded by deer. They were all gentle with her. A few sat down close to her, giving the she-cat encouragement. "I-I followed my destiny. That destiny was to make peace, even with the largest deer." Sagefang gasped, feeling a few kits coming out. Sagefang mumbled with pain. A young female fallow pushed her hooves gently against Sagefang. Another kit came out. The pain was over. Sagefang gave birth to three kits. Two toms and a she-cat. A female fallow nudged the kits towards Sagefang. She began licking her kits with plenty of love. Sagefang began purring, blinking her eyes slowly at the fallows. A female fallow gently lifted up a kit by the scruff, followed by another female picking up a kit. They stared blankly at Sagefang and nodded at her. Sagefang had trouble figuring out what they were doing, but she trusted them. She lifted up the she-cat and began following the two females. The other fallows were left behind. They went around a pond, a large grassland, and there was a tunnel at the end. The two females wouldn't be able to fit in there, but Sagefang would be. The two females set down the kits. Sagefang tried to lift them all up at once. It was hard and heavy, but she wouldn't drop her kits. She scented nearby cats. There were two cats in there. A tom with a she-cat. The she-cat had kits with her. They stared at Sagefang with caution until she set down her kits with her. "Who are you?" The tom meowed firmly, his back against his mate. "I... My name is Sagefang. Those fallow deer help me give birth to these newborns... I'm s-sorry if I shouldn't be here. The deer took me over here." Sagefang answered. The she-cat dipped her head to Sagefang. Her kits were playing and running around the tunnels inside what looked like their camp. One of them stopped by the she-cat, stared at Sagefang and cocking his head. "My name is Poppy. That is my mate, Eagle. I have four kits running around. Their names are Shade, Trout, Heavy, and Ripple," Poppy, the she-cat, introduced to Sagefang, "where did you come from? What brings you into our home?" "I was from a clan called BoulderClan. BoulderClan had a war with ShineClan and CloudClan. My mate died in the war and told me to run far and wide. I decided to follow his words. I had a vision I believe StarClan sent to me. It showed me this territory, these grasslands, and even the fallow deer." Sagefang explained, licking her kits. The little kits began drinking milk and curling closer to their mother. "That all sounds rather interesting indeed. You had a vision? Of our territory? How?" Eagle questioned Sagefang. "StarClan sent me it. When cats die, they go to StarClan. Each star in our night sky is a StarClan warrior." Sagefang explained again. "Really? Tell us more," Poppy asked, beginning to settle down, "Shade! Trout! Heavy! Ripple!" Poppy called out, a bunch of kits padding to their mother. "Yes, mama?" Shade mewled. "Who is this?" Ripple gasped. "Kits, this is Sagefang. The fallows lead her here. She is going to tell us stories of how she got here and about StarClan." Poppy explained to her kits. Sagefang told them everything. She told them about her clan life. She told them about StarClan. She them about her journey here. She told them about how the fallows treated them. The family listened to her, word for word. They seemed to have great interest in everything she said. "What is the warrior code?" Trout asked Sagefang. "They are the rules StarClan gave to the clans to follow. I could tell you the warrior code later," Sagefang told trout, "I need to get going. I need to give my kits attention, and we need to get some sleep." "Sounds good to us. Here, I'll show you our nests. You could sleep in our spare ones." Eagle offered to Sagefang. "I can't thank you enough!" Sagefang joyfully meowed. Eventually, Sagefang was Sagestar. She called the territory FallowClan. Eagle's new name was Eaglebeak. Poppy's new name was Poppyfrost. Sagestar's kits were named Copperfur, Blossomspeck, and Onerunner. Poppyfrost's kits were named Shadesnow, Troutdrop, Heavypelt, and Ripplefeather. Troutdrop and Blossomspeck gave birth to Ivykit and Flamekit. Shadesnow and Copperfur gave birth to Sparrowkit, Hailkit, Sunkit, and Heronkit. Since Sagestar arrived into the territory of fallows and cats, new clan life was accepted. The cats and the fallows were at harmony. FallowClan has a journey to begin!
