What is Inktober?

If you are a pen artist who is looking for motivation or someone who just wants to give it a go, Inktober is the perfect month for you!

Is a challenge to improve the thinking skills and develop positive drawing habits. Since then, it has become a worldwide effort with thousands of artists who face the challenge every year.



How to take part in Inktober . . .

The Inktober is a ‘simple concept’. If you are into art you will often see drawing challenges on different social media platforms – Inktober is no different!

1) The idea is to draw something every day for the whole month of October. But as it says on the Inktober website – challenge yourself to something attainable. If you can only manage to create a drawing every other day make that your aim!

Can I do my drawing in digital?

Everyone can make their drawings as they wish, but the challenge is to use ink. Ink that you can not remove, a stroke that is permanent. The challenge to join the stroke, without being able to use the Ctrl + Z, would miss the magic that the challenge has in itself. You can do it, if you wish, do it and have fun!


Where do I sign up? What happens if I skip the days?

It is not necessary to register! It is not a contest! It is simply something that motivates all the cartoonists to draw and practice on a daily basis and see the improvements, have fun and learn from the experience.

It does not matter if you skip a few days, but the idea is to practice and make drawings daily, with the motivation to improve.

Rules

If you have an account on Instagram, twitter, any social network, these are the rules to follow to fully enjoy the Inktober experience (completely simple)

1) Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).

2) Post it online

3) Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2018

4) Repeat
