WHY FULLSCREEN MOUSES ARE LOW QUALITY?

Mouse on profile is scaled, all blocks and items are scaled but why not mouses? This must be a very easy feature

As far as I remember, this was originally done to reduce lag.

There are two ways of displaying the graphics:

1. As vector shapes, which scale smoothly and look good at any size, but are slow to render on screen.

2. As bitmap images, which can be displayed faster, but look pixelated at bigger sizes.

The developers' reasoning was apparently that the animations of many mice on screen (especially with their clothes on) could be very laggy on slower computers if they were rendered as vector shapes, so the mice are displayed as bitmaps.
