New years is the most important to me to me. growing up i had a poor home life, with alcoholic parents and was getting bullied regularly. but one day on the new years i met this best friend who'd draw me jolteons in hats; every year she made me some because she knew how much pokemon meant to me.

now that im 18 i have been taken in by her family; a gift with a empty picture frame with a note saying "in our next family photo, we hope to see you in it" and a jolteon drawn on the side.

I'm sorry to hear about your upbringing. It must have been hard to have a bad home life in addition to being bullied. I'm glad you're doing much better now, and I hope all of your future New Years celebrations are happy and spent with people that appreciate and care about you :)
