I'm here to clarify a modality that should be banned: secret moderators. No one knows who they are, and the question is: who decides that a person should become a moderator in order to stay hidden? Where is the responsibility and common sense in applying bans? Furthermore, how can players appeal this? A player can be banned and, when going to the ban center, find no solution. The moderator is always right, which, by the way, seems like an authoritarian attitude. I come here with indignation and I believe that this should change, because this game is full of dictatorial attitudes." |

Secret mods are either moderators in training or experienced mods using an alt. In the first scenario they have to provide hard evidence before a ban (and iirc) and they cannot perform long ban, those are made regardless by older mods after receiving the info. If the second scenario applies they should be trained enough to avoid mistakes. That being said they're humans and mistakes can be made, both on judgement on the action of the player and during the mod selection process, that is why mods are arbiters first |
