So... I've been trying to shaman in Divine mode on a laptop touchpad (a.k.a. trackpad, depending where you're from), and I can't finish a solid build.

I am a great hard-mode shaman! I learned to be quicker by using hotkeys to spawn items. But I am aching to shaman efficiently in Divine.

You have to be fast--not just because the builds take longer to erect, but because of the elements;
like, you need to quickly nail a swinging plank in this precise way so it stops at the angle you want.
And sometimes your build starts sliding off a platform because it's been inadequately secured, warranting swift placement of an anvil or weight to save it from collapsing.
If the build starts sinking into the abyss of a groundless map, you have to speedily attach balloons to multiple sites.
And you need to double- (or triple!-)anchor the first plank at the speed of light to beat a padder who will jump on it and tip it in a direction that epically f*cks all.

With a mouse, you can do this in fluid motions. You scroll to rotate, right-click, flick objects around, and can move the mouse seamlessly over the map. Speed and precision are more simply achieved.
On a touchpad, it takes more time to (not even barely) match the level of precision that a mouse can easily carry out. Trying to be precise enough just to cover my build's weak spots leaves me running out of time with only a half-finished build, if that.

Has anyone else shamaned Divine mode without a mouse? or with a trackpad?
I need hope!!

It's possible; when I played regularly (not since 2021), I could speedrun builds by practicing in tribe rooms, but my new laptop has terrible controls (I can't jump 20% of the time, for example, and it gets worse with more than 20 players; and I can't rotate objects with the scroll wheel because all it does it change the brightness of my screen when I try), and I don't like being the shaman, but if I ever get around to it I could show you some of my builds, and the time remaining. I also want to tell you to keep practicing because from the screenshots you provided, you made several mistakes that would make it impossible for the mice to get the cheese and get to the hole.
