I've found a problem: This new language filter system isn't working inside tribe house's chats.

This. I've been thinking it should be off by default and that'd let it coexist with non-filtered chat without pissing anyone off.

At present, the filter is on by default, and the people who swear profusely are too dumb to know how to turn it off, so the people who WOULD swear profusely and the ones who are now swearing around the filter... whereas if it were off by default they wouldn't notice they're being censored and the filter would work perfectly for those who turn it on.


Also I love how fucks isn't censored. Basically all you have to do is give at least two or more fucks.

^ There is nothing offensive about the word noob. It means new player, just in "txtspk". I can see here that some people are more offended by certain words than others, so I support a filter where someone can create their own list of censored words, as suggested by some other people.

If the filter can be activated instead of deactivated, it would be better and this game won't turn into crap. Maybe C:

I'm sure kids will have so much better times with a messed up filter.

All it do is teach the kids that these words are words that you can use for insults and such.
How are they supposed to learn what the words really mean when they're censored?
They'll be taught that the words are bad, therefor, when asking someone what it actually means, they most likely wont get an answer.
