did anyone get the message about pearl making one of the characters flawed in her alteration of the play?

honestly i hate when people call pearl thirsty and a 'lame old 'b**ch' because i think it's okay that a character has flaws
yeah, she may have taken advantage of garnet, but she was feeling vulnerable and she felt that sardonyx filled the gap in her heart.

The new episode was pretty good.
