I would just like to point out that people are fishing for votes by promising everyone in their slogans that if they become president, they'll make fraises free and furs/colors cheaper (or also free).
As far as I'm concerned, this is not something TFM will allow (how would TFM make any money if fraises are free?) thus, I think it should be against the rules to have slogans like that.

It kind of ruins the point of the elections, if people only vote for those who give them fake promises. I guess this is a part of politics lol, but still, I'd like to think that TFM is above this kind of crap.

Why this? The election system has nothing bad. It may not be interesting to you, but it is for others. this is unnecessary! If you did not like the news, you don't need to vote, this will not change the gameplay.
