magnetel a dit : it's kinda dumb to say "well it's my opinion" after you say you believe something extremely generalized which can be ruled over by debate whilst not considering anything flawed about it "i don't like vanilla ice cream" vs "well HOLLER all my diddly doinkin HORSES if i DO SAY SO MYSELF i really CANNOT STAND all the HORRIBLE PEOPLE these days with wearing WHAT THEY WANT like it's so INFURIATING and because it's been a popular TOPIXC in the MEDIA LATELY i will WRONGLY assume that ALL OF THEM are doing THIS EXACT THING because it relates to THIS IN THE MEDIA somewhat" |

Haruhitastic a dit : this is what I was complaining about before why do people, mainly younger people, consider it a "bad" thing when a debate starts "I don't think this thread is a good idea" because god forbid we have a discussion about things? because god forbid people have their views challenged and actually have to consider other opinions? threads based on politics or religion are banned because, oh no the horror, arguments tend to get "heated" but so what? as long as it doesn't delve into insults (which can be immediately reported and that person muted as soon as they do so) what is the issue? "opinion" is not a magical word which means you can never be wrong and refusing to have your view changed is not something to be proud of - you're stunting your own development by refusing to have more informed viewpoints when presented with evidence against your opinion and this is not off-topic because it's something I hate about this generation, the fucking hugbox mentality everyone has even more now because we have the ability to so easily block out everyone we don't like on our dashboard/feed/subscription box/whatever |

I would say : o The fact that people in general judge everyone on their look/attach more importance to that, so by this way they can be really mean to "different" people o Some modern musics ( french rap ugggh ._. ) o Children who already are on IPads at something like 2-3 years old |

I dont understand that. Or, rather, I dont see the problem with little kids playing on iPads or iPhones. My baby sister (who is 2 years old) is usually on her iPad Mini, but she plays baby games that are educational to her. I'm not even kidding, she knows how to count to ten and a portion of the ABCs just from playing those kiddie games, and she solves those baby-puzzles on it too. I see nothing wrong with it, she's entertained, content, and wont cause a racket. |

Considering how smart children are nowadays, I'd say technology does far more good than harm. |

When i was 8, i started going playing the computer Because of that i now get all A's at english tests, without even learning. So technology did alot of good things for me, and if i wouldn't have that computer, i'd be struggeling in ANOTHER language right now |

It's an age when we discover everything by ourself. When I say "on tablets", I mean spending too much time on these when we're very young, I'm sure that some irresponsible parents give their children tablets to be quiet all day long. Also I think many other things like toys, books, TV animes and obviously social life/nature are essential to the child development and still better than IPads. |

I read books since i basically could read, and yeah, thats helped me alot. I have an outstanding vocabulary, and such. But if it wasn't for that computer, i would have never discovered english at such an early age, meaning i could not be able to read english books. I |

Ok so, I saw 2 5th graders have crop tops on and short skirts while walking home from school. I was going to tell them that they're not old enough to wear that kind of stuff, but I just decided to not say anything. (p.s. i know the two girls so that's how i can tell they're 5th graders) |

My faith in humanity is shattered because 1) People are losing their manners/respect/who to give respects to (such as children should respect their elders). 2) Toddlers and Tiaras. 3) 4 year old boy outside at 11:00 PM unsupervised when he lives on the other side of town. 4) People take kindness as weakness. 5) Where has honesty and loyalty gone? |

Daapplehead a dit : That has been occurring for a long, long time; nothing new. However not everyone disrespects adults; there is still millions of people who are courteous, respectful and polite. a dit : ..How come? One could misunderstand this as that you either dislike toddlers, tiaras, or that toddlers wear tiaras which makes no sense as of why you would be against that. I mean, little kids love to pretend to be major people, like princesses, princes, or they could act out future careers they might want a dit : You could probably contact the parents about that if you know where he lives and find out their motives for letting their child out so late at night. Dont take my word for that, though, I have never dealt with a similar situation.[/quote] a dit : No, not really. I'm not sure which way is best to respond to this without giving off the wrong vibe, but I can at least say that your statement isnt all that correct a dit : Nowhere, it's still here, you've just been looking in the wrong places, possibly - Yeah, I hope I dealt with this the right way |
