is 1.9 extremely laggy for anyone else? i can barely do anything, but previous versions are perfectly fine.

I agree 1.9 lagged me to death^

i can't even get past the title screen lol... hopefully it's fixed in 1.9.1

For me, it takes like 6 tries to get past the title.

Anytime I load into a world/server the first time, everything's fine.
However, returning to the homescreen then joining and world/server results in the terrain appearing like this:

(The structures depend on builds/generation made around the server)
Thus resulting in making me having the reload the entire game
1.9.1 better come soon

this happened once when I put my render distance ''too high'' on a realms server like 2 years ago

i don't usually use 1.9, so here's my 1.8.9 pixelarts c:

Annoying Dog, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys.


I did 7/9 of these without a tutorial, the other 2 with are Sans and Papyrus, since that was before I discovered I had rad pixelart skills.

But I need help.

My squids keep dying!
I'm spawning them 2 and a half blocks below the surface, but I'm sure that that's enough room.. right?

I'm trying to build an aquarium, so keeping the squids alive is KIND OF handy......

And, by dying, I mean dying like out-of-water-dying. Within a few seconds.

i put a squid in a 4x4 box, 2 blocks deep, and it seems fine to me
maybe put some blocks on top of it, like glass blocks
e. also make sure you nametag them, so they don't de-spawn

my old laptop lagged like hell but my new one is super smooth

i cant just go and get a new pc fam this one is like half a year old
1.9 is causing people who were prefectly fine in previous versions to lag, including myself, so its probably about the version and not the pc, if it is for w.e reason because i dont have a super amazing gaming pc

but once 1.9.1 comes out im trying again and if it still is lagging on the title screen im uninstalling this lmaoo

I don't even have the time to nametag them, they die in a few moments after being spawned. :(
Also, they are being spawned on top of slabs... Does that matter or.............?

Yeah it was 1.8 for me that lagged me out other versions were fine tho

minecraft has been laggy on my vista ever since they updated the launcher
which was around 1.53 or so

i don't like 1.9 uhh lol
