I'm so salty about the original anime being cancelled just when it got ridiculously awesome that I can't but to hope for the best.

Just want to toss in there that Sailor Moon Crystal was all about CGI when it first come out, but the fans really didn't favour it and they tossed the idea by the third season.
Maybe it could happen with Beserk too if fans don't like it?

Could be, but I'm pretty sure that most Berserk fans will watch even an ms paint animation as long as it's Berserk.

And it's not like the original has exceptional art in today's standards either. I almost stopped watching it after a few episodes because it was ugly for the time (I was way late on that train) and quite honestly really bad until the story got really going. The godawful opening theme didn't help either.

I'm all about animation and character design, I can't watch ugly shows like Berserk, Cowboy Bebop, One Piece.
I find the designs so lazy/bad and the animation god awful! Yuck!

I love shows like Nagi no Asukara and Magi, charcters design spot on, animation is just stunning and over the top! I love it!

Oh, I rate it 9/10 overall too simple because after the few first episodes the animation art stops bothering and the story gets a 12/10.

The first ep of the new Berserk anime aired a few hours ago. Thankfully I had pretty low expectations so it wasn't too shabby, and at least the game's coming out soon-ish.

The new season for D.Gray Man starts July 5th, 2016 if anyone else is hyped for it.

I have not finished watching the original D-Gray Man series yet so I'll need to put the sequel on hold until I have time to catch up.
For this season I'm going to watch Orange, ReLIFE, Love Live Sunshine, Ange Vierge and Amaama to Inazuma (because Hayami Saori has the best voice).

I can't wait for Hatsukoi Monster because Takahiro Sakurai is my favourite VA, I love a ton of his roles.

His voice is easy to recognize, almost the same as when I can instantly knew Kaji Yuki's voice. Started liking him when he voiced Ferid from Owari no Seraph and that Music Teacher from Hibike Euphonium.

I just hope I like them, Chika already sounds a little bit annoying from all the previews, basically a duplicate Honk, but I'm most likely wrong
