I feel like someone mentions it every page or every other page here.

We get it, there's an 18+ side, but that's in every fandom and franchise.
You have a choice whether to be involved in it or not and if you're disapproving of it, you have a choice whether or not to affiliate yourself with someone who doesn't mind it.

Personally I don't mind Undertail, but it gets a tad bit annoying when someone mentions it so frequent as if they've never heard that a fandom could have suggestive themes.

I'm not complaining but it's been awhile since a wholehearted conversation about the game's been thoroughly discussed.
When someone walks in and says "have you heard of Undertail?", I personally don't believe that it matters.
And usually others are so disapproving of it, I wouldn't mind discussing Undetail here with a few people that like it to an extent that doesn't surpass an 18+ rating (such as which ships they like and why, and how they admire the intimacy within those relationships, etc).

well we can dicuss theories people have made
the one theory i know about is how flowey was fearful of frisk (who was possessed by chara or whatever or had their thoughts idk i forgot its been a long time since ive played and i still need to beat the sans battle, and its been since jan or dec already and i still havent beaten him)
i forgot how it went but the person made a theory about how back in the days, when asriel was still there and so was chara and when toriel and asgore were still together, chara treated asriel badly and did terrible things to them as well. which resulted into asriel being intimidated of his sibling.

because of this, and flowey sharing the memories asriel had, it could have made flowey scared at that moment.

Admittedly I haven't seen a lot of Alphys and Undyne, but that's probably because I don't search for it?

Which in a regard it makes me feel a little sad for Asriel too, being that Chara was someone he was close to.
Basically nothing is more upsetting and damaging than when someone close to you treats you awfully, it's mentally and emotionally devastating.

In a whole different regard for some reason I adore comics and art where Asirel and Frisk are teenagers and implies a one-sided relationship? I think it's just visually adorable and in some it can be pretty amusing when Asirel ignores any passes Frisk makes out of his own disinterest (mostly because of the memories).

Also I really like art where they dress the characters in spiffy or sparkly clothing that really suits them?
That being suits, dresses and more.

but i havent seen any comics like that yet, i have seen some that involve frisk and asriel but are more so just "comedy" comics instead of ships

the theory is a bit sad because of that, so i do feel bad for asriel

Speaking of flowers it's also kinda amusing when people take the most simplest things and relate them to Flowey, things like erasers of a flower with a smiley face or any flower with a facial expression however haha

I feel like Flowey made a long-lasting impression on people and who can blame them when the character's role is so strong and insightful.

I agree with dappled, the undertail "discussion" annoyed me too because it pretty much compromised of naiive kids saying "ewww!1! artists drawing reproductive organs on a character!1!" over and over as if that was noteworthy or some amazing new concept never seen before

I beg to differ.
Why do people hold Frisk accountable for things it's obvious they didn't want to do? I get the stuff it's us who control Frisk, but Chara exists in there because the SOUL is not the same, but of similar color and trait. Plus,
I seriously am done with people accusing Frisk of murder in Genocide out of their own volition and making Chara seem like a genuine good soul that helps out Frisk everytime in Pacifist / Neutral Routes. IT SIMPLY DOESN'T HAPPEN.
And the part where "LV is 1 means Chara didn't kill anyone or something like that" is again stupid. They were running from something. Either something that happened to them, or something they did.
I still don't believe the buttercup poisoning was accidental. While one could misread the instructions on a recipe, Chara was fully aware of what they were doing. Something serious as poisoning can't just be laughed off.
Also, Frisk is looked by Chara as some sort of guidance? Are you seriously kidding me? Chara suddenly spins off their morality in Asriel's lines of thought? REALLY BRO?
Must I remember What for it's still a mystery, but i still think it was over something Chara did, suggests to me only public outrage rather than true compassion. The humans were still condoning the monsters at stake for hurting their kind.

So in all seriousness I don't think the theory is really proving anything. Chara was always in control during the Genocide Route, but they opt on setting Frisk as a scapegoat for their own ends. The hesitation in front of Papyrus, the hesitation when fighting Sans...I don't really think that these emotions would truly stem from Chara. Their hatred was higher than Frisk's, and while Frisk might have had an unfortunate reason for choosing to go down Mt. Ebott, it might not be that strong as Chara's was, and this is my theory on the whole thing.

I've never had a theory like this setting my Undertale detective mode more than ever.

Not projecting anything. I'm just a fan of the theory that keeps Frisk's possession as a potential in Genocide Route, nothing else.

That is true as well, I do not disapprove of any other opinion regarding Frisk and Chara.
I have analyzed it from the perspective of my thoughts about the game itself, and the theory I'm supporting.
I'm sorry if I'm on the fence about Chara being good, I just don't think they're easily forgivable.

We actually don't know the reason why Frisk went down, so it leaves a whole gateway for theories.
