im sorry but... 50 fraises? 50 freaking fraises!?!??! Come on.. Transformice used to give out 50+ fraises and a bunch of titles TO EACH PLAYER each major event and now... 50 fraises? My god atelier... soooo many more people would join your competition. I don't think giving away not even 5$ of fraises away is going to attract a lot of people...

I agree, most don't think it's worth their time. I am thankful for the event though and it may be fun for some and cant wait to see all the drawings. contest spirit

It's purposefully a small contest, as it doesn't last for much long and more importantly, we know that not everyone can draw, and only a portion of our players actually have a chance of winning. That's why we didnt want the prizes to be too high, so those who cannot draw do not get too sad/frustrated.

honestly, despite the want to not upset players who can't draw, even the top prize, 300 fraises, is worth less than 5 dollars. someone can buy 200 more fraises than that with 5 dollars. for a completely finished piece of artwork that could have taken hours to complete, that's a very low amount? it seems unfair to the artists who are going to put a lot of effort into their drawing, and only get like 3 dollars worth of rewards.

i understand this is a contest and not a commission, but 3 dollars is a tiny amount of payment/reward for a finished piece of artwork, especially to some of the magnitude of artwork i've already seen on this thread.

good luck to all the artists who are going to participate, and if the prizes are fair to you then go for it, or if you're just having fun, that's still all good. i just think it's a very unfair decision on the staff's part. i might enter if i'm bored and feel like drawing something transformice-related, but the contest is still very unfair and not worth it honestly.
