I think Atelier 801 should introduce "Like us on Facebook" or "Follow us on twitter/instagram" button in the game. It will be nice if we would get some cheese in turn. That way, our Facebook friends or instagram followers will see we followed/liked your page and maybe some of them will get interested in playing Transformice. (or any other Atelier's game)

Syrius, F2P means 'free to play', and of course that is unaffected. If you did read the original post of this thread, you'll understand that if the studio behind the game doesn't make enough funds to run it, Dead Maze just won't 'be' anymore.

I meant that if all this would be implemented, it would be more P2W than F2P.

The problem with this is Transformice isn't really a stream/video-friendly game. There's always way too much stuff going on and too many mice on the screen at any one time because of the nature of the game. There have been songs about Transformice back in its heyday, there are sketches and skits and stuff (I've made a few myself) but it's just not an easy fit to make.

But I really wanna to say that it's sad. And this game has changed a lot. Not in a good way for me. It was pretty game. You can call it simple in some way...but u know, this game that existed till u added this superpowers for shamans, it wasn't borring or "so simple". It was interesting to compete with other players, to play on events, to play minigames. Not this card games... Where is baffbot? What the hell are shops? No. Really? Is it MMO or something? Events with no possibilities to have some things WITHOUT sellers? It makes me so sad
There is no way to take it as a Transformice. It's an other now...
It's just my opinion (and I sorry for my Eng).
But I think it's gonna be a lot better if you will not change gameplay anymore. Just add some events.

This is an excellent point. It’s what I tried to explain in my post, we added so many things to Transformice that it’s barely the same game as in 2010 anymore. Most of people would suggest “maybe add this, and that” to make the game better, but the truth is that the game would be better if we actually removed some features. This is why we tried to remove skills from Vanilla over Christmas.
But as this experiment showed, people are not ready for feature removal, which is understandable. We can’t add anything, but we can’t go back either. It’s a bit of a stuck situation.

How could you even think that removing shaman skills was good idea in first place? If you start removing freatures you can as well annouce that you are going to close down the game because you lack manpower to suuport 2 games. I believe most of people who still play TFM came to the game when levels, shaman skills and shop and items were already present. Now rednering the proggres they made useless was cleary very bad idea.

- remove the emotions from the game
- remove the elections
- remove the "cafe" ( this is essential, cause there is just hate in this feature, and the forum is here)
- remove the training room
- remove the music rooms
- remove the inventory itens (balls,rips,fishes,etc) - chese coins / rewards from playing in vanilla/survivor/bootcamp STAY
- remove some servers that don't have many players...they can play in en or en2 without problems
- change the maps editor, this is a way that new maps can be developed while u adms don't no NOTHING
- bring real promotions, for purchase fraises, like u buy 2400 and win extra +200 for an exemple, or win an exclusive iten.
- do not remove the skills, its already such a big part in the game that people can't play without them...
- bring a new module, "tfm 2010", without skills
- do not stop to bring new titles / medals, this is the premier way that old players can reach some new goals
- u don't need to stop recyling events, just don't recycle without new titles or medals, its just easy like this (althought don't bring events like charllot or pilot ...u know it)

let people play the game.

Everything comes to an end. Even great games like World of Warcraft (even though they're not actually 'over', but way over their golden years) have passed what you are experiencing right now. What you all should take into account is to learn with the mistakes.

After 8 years it gets to a conclusion that the wrong choices you've made was to add too much content to a simple game. However, this is fine: when you have something really good going on and it is successful it's natural to think that you should continue to add new content. It was IMPOSSIBLE back in 2011-13 to foresee that adding new stuff to the game would end up contributing to its downfall so it's no one's fault.

From now on, I wish you good luck with HTML5 because it is indeed the future of web development! It's cliche to say this but it is true, at least for the decade to come. Thanks for Transformice, I've been playing it since June 2010 and it makes me very sad to see this happen, I have had such great fun here and made some really great friends, some of which I have contact to this day even though they haven't logged in for 5 years! I wish you all the best in the years to come and will definitely support you all. Keep updated with the tech, with the public and with the genre trending because gaming industry experience you have plenty.

Halo! People! Embrace! Nobody said anything about removing the game, only that it's hard to keep it! Besides, if ONE end was close, I did not feel sorry for myself but just took the last moments with the game! Earth to you! Admins will manage. It is not allowed to doubt them, because they will take over and thread. They will take care that we do not help and the game is not important to us, but it is important! They are not the game, we are all. One for all, all for one ;)
