Trust me, you are not alone with this one.. The main symptom is anti-social behaviour and i'm very social..I was only diagnosed with ASD because of my stubborn behaviour.. I was diagnosed when I was 2. ;-; And by the way, it isn't a 'weird fact', it's a way of life.

I'm autistic, the doctors comfirmed I do indeed have it.
I always tend to be off in my own little world and am always 'ignoring' people in real life and stuff, but the truth is, I just can't hear them. On the computer though, it's differnet. I can read and type. Thank God for the Internet. \o/
I'm a wiz at piano and violin, too. One of the gifts of autisim, most are extremely gifted in the arts. ♡
I'm able to memorize song lyrics and keys to songs on the piano/violin with just one look at the sheets, or just hearing the song once. ♡ My memory for this is truly a gift, but when it comes to memorizing anything else, damn, I can't remember a thing.

No matter how hard I try to forget, I remember almost EVERYTHING from my past. So... I can remember if I did something wrong or good.... and that can be bad... O.o

Austism is different for every girl/boy that has it. Most likely, your friend does not have it, because if she/he did, having the same case of austism as me would be an extremely rare coincedence.
