Yeah, I was getting bored of Mangle debates as well. Although keep in mind we weren't debating her gender anymore, it's now whether she's the cause of the Bite of 87.

Oh yeah, it's fully confirmed now. Scott left too many unanswered questions and not-fully-explained stories in FNaF 2 for him to just leave it at that.

I believe it to be Freddy. There is a poster hanging up somewhere in the games stating the 'rules' of the pizzeria for the kids to follow. One of them are as followed: "Don't touch Freddy." Why not any other animatronic? That doesn't make sense, unless Freddy bit the child.
