i never liked animaljam, but to be honest, once you think of it, all these popular virtual worlds for children are crappy in a way. the only virtual world geared towards children i liked was handipoints. it wasn't as strict. in stuff like fantage, certain words just won't show up and you have to make your sentence look as ineligible as hieroglyphics in order for them to show. in handipoints, you could easily censor a bad word and it would show. also, words like "kill" or "kick" would show.
sadly, it hasn't been working since like, 2011.
it wasn't popular at all, but there were still enough people to harass and form friendships with. it was fun.

Ah, Club Penguin. I used to love this game, and I went on it every weekend. I had 4 accounts, but I lost the password for my first one, so now I only have 3. I go on maybe once a month when I'm really bored to see what's going on.
It's pretty much a members only game now.

edit: I just went on to check if anything was happening, and there's new items for non members now.

i used to be a big fan of it when i was younger but now it's really kind of dumb imo
memberships restrict almost everything in it

you used to play handipoints? what was your user?
and i liked club penguin when i was little, too. of course i had my mom buy me a membership. the memberships were and still are the only way to look "good." also, on club penguin, the older items tend to be better than the new ones. for example, the hoodies and scarves.
now it's just pointless to go on. like fantage, the people on there are incredibly awkward. here is an example:
Penguin 1: hi how r u
Penguin 2: good u?
Penguin 1: good
Penguin 2: wanna be friends
Penguin 1: ok
*20 minutes of not conversing later*

then there's those people who randomly go up to you and ask you to be their best friend.
anyway, though, if you want a version of club penguin that allows you to get any item for free, just join a club penguin private server. on most of those, you can swear. however, i have seen some that restrict the use of inappropriate language, like the original game.
and oh my god, those music videos with the club penguin mascots released on the game's official youtube channel, though. i was so done when herbert style or whatever was released.

that actually sounds familiar. do you remember a person typing in all caps, swearing at everyone? if so, that was me.
the name was perry. i also had like, so many other aliases.
the last time i played club penguin, it was in like, 2012 with that prehistoric party thing and i had a membership at that time. i basically dressed up as a dinosaur and kept puking on everyone with my friend in real life and they got so angry. everyone was like, "STOP!!!! I'M REPORTING YOU!!!!!"
i remember when i was like, eight and on club penguin, i kept saying "meow" in every sentence to annoy people, so this guy was like "i forbid you from saying meow!" my response: "meow ok meow"

now my penguin is forever in halloween stuff
