Temptress is actually another word for 'female'.

That's how I use it. That's how my former best friend used it as too, and she roleplayed better than I do

Just the modern world has created a slang definition for it, which is why it is less commonly used for the situation at hand.

EX: Gay used to mean happy

Using the word gay won't get you suspended... It's a sexual preference thats misused as an insult.
I never said bitch was the only word with different definitions, but just saying, if we're still focusing on the word 'temptress,' that the argument still stands.. It means female or a female who tempts. Words can have different meanings.

People usually assume the worst. And you could definatly get sent to the principles office if a teacher or staff hears you say it..

Jeez this is getting off topic but, even if people assume the worse- it doesnt change the fact that they're wrong. Even if they wrongly send you to the principal's office, you can defend yourself by stating the definition you meant to say. Again, because of its modern slang definition, its not commonly used- but it still has that definition. The argument still stands..

Well, the only thing I find wrong about Ember's gathering posts is how often I have to use google during the meeting. Every once in a while, I end up with something....unplesant.
