The game is not 13+. But, you do need parental permission before creating an account if you're under the age of 13.

I started playing tfm when I was 12.

so let me get this straight: you guys actually think that someone ACTUALLY bothers with "parental permission"?

I only joined tfm to learn some swear words. Swear words are everywhere no matter how hard people try to protect you fom it. I give myself parental permission.

the 13+ rule exists to show off that the game is 13+ and language is a thing that exists. i don't think the game should be restricted to younger people. if they're causing drama then users in the room can simply block or use /ban

This is an unavoidable issue, no matter what part of the internet you are on.

I don't think people should have to put their age down but I do think a feature could be added where you can just turn off the chat. Unless that's already a thing....

The game isn't just 13+, it's recommended to be 13+.
Plus strong points, yes, you can fake your age.

It's a game about mice getting cheese, it's going to attract young kids. The mature language filter is on by default, the only thing I wish was slightly more obvious is the ability to block/mute players.

This Is one of my biggest problems: How the older kids act so nasty to the younger players. If they could, maybe, do something about hiding chat for younger players ( while yes I know about the lying of age ) It would help a lot.
