Developers, please. Stop this, it isn't gonna help Transformice. It's just gonna make the game die even quicker. We did not want a system thats ripped off from Discord, you're just wanting to make the game even worse but you're not even smart enough to realize it. I had high hopes for this game and I don't think I have hope for it anymore. Developers are too dumb and lazy to make new and original, it makes me so angry.

Once people understand how the new username system works, it'll make it harder for impersonators to "get away with it". Your profile, stats, and number would still be unique to you. You'd have to be completely unaware of the system or gullible to fall for it.
Side-note, but I've also been impersonated by my brother on an account named Alyyyyyyyy (one extra Y) and people fell for it. The current system isn't 100% impersonation-proof either, though I recognize that the new system will make it a bit easier. However, I doubt most people care enough to impersonate the average player, and it will be pretty obvious who is real Emlieedreamzz and who is imposter if you look.

That being said, this is an interesting idea. I wonder how well it will work on an online game like Transformice, as I don't think I've seen it outside of Discord. However, I do wonder why Transformice can't just delete the hardly-used accounts from 2010-2013.

Why are we as a playerbase never consulted before things like this are rolled out? I have been told that even staff were not made aware of this change until just today.

This is a terrible idea and will drive players away from the games. I see no tangible benefit of this and I highly doubt it will attract new players.

What is the point in letting us create our own nicknames if people will just be able to steal them in the end?

Might as well have us all be called Souris_[Insert random characters here].

Please dont, it will be horrible, there will be people who will not know this (about the update) and someone could just take my name and whispering or telling my friends something, u can just put numbers. Dont be a copier!!!!!!!!
