They finally opened it yesterday :D But it kept freezing up and lagging and I couldn't even get in :(

Edit: It's still laggy as hell but it works now (I'm a light blue cat named Chocobat)

I can't even download it yet. My mum says she doesn't trust it...:(

Yep, it still exists! The developers are pretty dedicated to the game, I quite like that about the team.

A few days ago, I finally managed to fix some nasty issue I had with running the game for a while (which caused me to miss out on using the Play Line in the past) and I'm really glad I can finally join in on the game.

I must admit it can be a bit unplayable at times due to the freezing and long loading times (mostly in Toontown Central, though), but it's to be expected since it's still in Beta and we are still helping the developers build up the game so that it can handle a better amount of people. That is the main priority of the Beta, the actual game progression comes after.

All in all I'm just happy that there's people out there working to keep Toontown alive, and I look forward to the game's full release.

my two toons are two black cats named ness and lucas.
ness is 116; maxed in sell, robber baron, legal eagle, and downsizer
lucas is a 72 cash uber with every gag maxed except drop and he's a tightwad

at least its not as bad as Vibrant Valley

I played tto from 2006 right up until it closed.. and I think I had membership for like a fourth of that time? I only got halfway through the ddl tasks so I don't know what I did that didn't make me progress further in the game

i've been playing toontown since i was nine. i've stopped playing now, but i used to love getting up early on saturday mornings to get into that one server that was always crowded. i also liked to glitch into the green space outside of my house. i could probably name a few glitches off of the top of my head rn. i also remember watching a lot of toontown youtubers as well, like the random toon show and quackity hq.

so yeah. i dont think any game will affect me like toontown has.

ttr is free, but there was also tto, the original game, and in order to access most of the game you had to buy membership. ttr is completely free though (thank god too)
