I use the color picker only to check and see if I picked the right color. I get them most of them right soo... im learning. c:
As for applying it in my own works... ugh.. I hate doing portraits..
I know I can do this buuut.. i draw cartoons and simplify everything. xD
I don't know.. maybe next time whenever I get the chance to. Right now I'm doing other weird studies that I don't bother showing.

Got a bit busy. So not much stuff worth posting.

More Daniel. Not really able to do these stuff as much as I want to cuz of work training.
But eh, glad I could still do them.

Sooo.. 1 year and 7 months later we reached 320 posts! Yaaay!

But sadly, I haven't really playing TFM a lot lately and I feel like I'm just posting here out of the need to do it because I started to do so. I don't even know much of the new updates in the game anymore. xD

So, yeah. I guess this is my last post here.. But not before making a long winded inspirational speech thingy! :3

About 3 years ago, I made fan art of Regular Show, Adventure Time and TMNT. Whatever was on that time that I liked. I saw it as fun and not anything more as a hobby. And because of that, I wasn't really improving and I mostly ignore a lot of critique that was given to me when it comes to art fundamentals. So naturally, it eventually became boring as I wasn't really improving.

Then in November 2013, I saw this comic called Lackadaisy! It was one of the best comic I have ever read! Everything about was amazing to me and it reignited my fire to draw. It created a new passion in me. And despite it still being a "hobby" back then, I decided to take it much much more seriously.

Eventually, I decided that it would be my career path. Since I was home-schooled, which pretty much means you have to manage your own schedule and study by yourself if you don't have a tutor, being a self taught artist isn't as hard for me as other beginning artist. Sure there are a lot of frustrations and failures along the way, and most of the time I really beat myself and lower my own morale on how bad I was, but with enough discipline, optimism, encouragement, and PASSION, it made it all a lot easier. Also, I gave up a lot of fun stuff in my life and tried to draw 6 hours everyday. >.>

So I really thank the people who has been following this art thread. I hope that this could be some sort of inspiration or proof that with enough passion and discipline, and continuing to keep at it, you can improve quickly in 2-3 years time.
