Pokemon

I'm waiting for a HG/SS remake. I know they're not as old as Ruby/Sapphire or D/P but they're my favourites. I mean, you can walk with your Pokémon, be able to travel around two regions instead of one, gather 16 badges and compete in Pokeathlon. Also, with the Pokewalker addition and being able to catch both Lugia and Ho-Oh, legendary trio birds and beasts (Suicune, Entei, Raikou) and Mewtwo makes the game one of a kind. The Pokewalker made me actually want to get up from my chair and walk around, even though I'm incredibly lazy. And if I'm correct, HG/SS are the only games that you can get both version exclusive legends and many others (as i listed above) without online events.

But being able to walk with your Pokémon tops all.

I don't think that a HG/SS remake would be made anytime soon, but I'm still looking forward for it. If not, I expect a game where just like in the cartoon series, you start off from Pallet Town and get to travel to all other regions, earn all 48 badges and beat 6 different League Champions, get to see and catch all legendaries and join Pokemon Contests, Pokeathlons and such, walk with your Pokemon and actually be able to catch all 721 Pokemon in a single game. I've been trying to complete my Pokedex on X since ages, and I could hardly reach 574. Transferring all my Pokemon from my previous games to black/white/2 and then to Pokebank, and then finally X takes too long. Trading isn't really helpful, too. Unlike in B/W, you can't easily tell your trade partner that you've already got the Pokemon they're offering. Looking around my boxes to find it and then showing? ugh. Why couldn't they just add the smiley/sad face/heart emotes in this gen, too?

ok I'm done with complaining. I just hope that GTS Negotiations will be added to the Hoenn remakes. And walking with your Pokemon thing. *sighs*

i have to agree with you, hgss were my favourite games too.i mean, yes, it's a remake of the original gen2 for the gbc, but i'd love for it to be redone for the 3ds with the walking pokemon thing. i was so happy when i got bw, i thought it was gonna have it too. i was wrong ;;
a game with all the reigons would be amazing, but it's not possible. maybe if humans actually stopped doing dumb things and thought about it, it could be possible.
i wish they had neogations in xy, uuugh. it's pretty dumb they didnt have it this time. GF just skips over the things we need for dumber things.

Dialga's my favourite legendary and it absolutely needs a mega evolution! And Cynthia's the coolest-and prettiest-champ, too, so a d/p remake would do too *-*

hg/ss are more like improved versions of Gold and Silver rather than remakes, but it's true. The games were out in 2009(Japan)/2010(Rest of the world) which isn't very old, but not so recent either. So I'd say, if a remake were to happen, it'd take a really, really long time. I'm guessing that they'd go in order, right? So D/P remake before HG/SS. *sigh*

About the remake thing, now, I don't think that The Pokemon Company could create any new Pokemon. Even if they do, I'm sure they wouldn't be as creative and original as the previous gen ones. Unless they come up with a new type, that is. Besides, for how long could they keep creating more? It was all fun and games when we had only 151, completing the dex never took long in Red/Green. 300-400's were fine too, but 721? Without events and hours of trading, I don't think that it's actually possible to reach that. And over that? Just.. nobody has time for that D: so I think that The Pokemon Company would go for remakes now, instead of new regions and pokemon. At least for the next few years until they actually come up with some new things. I knew they were having creativeness issues the day I saw the pokemon list for gen 5. An ice cream pokemon, really? And Fire/Fighting starters for three generations in a row (3-4-5). Although I just love Eelektross. Electric type with levitate, just wonderful (unless you're battling against one)

I know I write too long and its probably tiring to read but I just felt like sharing my thoughts v.v

They won't make another Gold/Silver again, until they remake Red/Blue. Since we already get Kanto starter in XY, and HGSS wasn't so long ago, I don't think another remake will be coming soon.

DPP is a DS game, and everything can be transported to Gen 6 via poketransfer + pokebank. Don't think we'll be seeing that until a while.

well, yes. They're already working on a Hoenn remake, but I would still very much appreciate a version including GTS Negotiations and the ability to walk with your Pokemon. Being able to travel to more than one region would be cool, too, but it's alright if they don't make another remake.

but lets be honest it would sell a lot.

Don't think they're remake a pokemon game twice. I'm sure most people would much rather have new regions + pokemon, rather than seeing old things over and over again.

that's true, but wouldn't it be hard to keep creating new stuff? Well, new regions, remakes or whatever, I'd still continue buying the games for sure

personally I feel that it would be cool if you could ride your pokemon anywhere

in X and Y you could ride A Pokémon in certain areas, but not YOUR Pokémon in cool areas. I'd honestly love to ride around town on a fucking Swampert.
