This is a thread to talk about Touhou, your favorite characters, posting moe pictures about the girls, and so on.

If you don't know, Touhou is a japanese danmaku(read: bullet hell) vertical shooter made by a single man named ZUN, and it's been around ever since the PC-98.
Every now and then, ZUN teams up with Tasogare Frontier, A.K.A Twilight Frontier, to make the fighting games, and Tasogare Frontier itself also done some non-canon games such as Super Marisa Land and PatchCon!.

Please do not be rude to others and let's all enjoy Touhou as fellow fans. If you hate Touhou, get the hell out of this thread, it's not for you.

12.3 is pretty cool, you're able to get 10.5's characters into it actually
also, netplay is pretty fun, its funner then story mode imo

I used to use Sakuya in SWR... but that was ages ago e.e

If only there was Shikieiki in the fighting games... I may consider playing them more often. But no... ZUN just decided to put Komachi and forgot about me. You shall pay for your sins ZUN.

Yes because Iku is too slow, Sanae is weak, Alice is hard to play (imo), and...
well I occasionally play Sakuya.
I mean... I practically slapped my keyboard with Alice. She's a fucking blockwhore aswell.

Well I'm constantly dashing to avoid all danmaku so

I don't really notice Iku's speed(or anyone else's)

Sanae is a little weak

But I can do so many combos with her :X

Alice, I forgot how 2 play as her ;;
I used to blow up everything tho

And Sakuya for me is knife nut'ing

I only dash upwards, honestly, to avoid stuff. Usually I take attacks, barely block, etc. and still win with hardly any health lost at all. I dunno.
But I still only play as a few characters because I know their attacks, what they do, how they work, etc. I'm working on Tenshi right now because she's really pretty.

I suck at dodging but I manage my way through arcade

Story mode is the real shit though, no such thing as 'time out spellcards' nope

Fighters don't follow all spellcard rules

Shikieiki would be OP in them sadly
