I have a few things to say about this, seems to br a nice idea yes, but what about ingame when you wpuld like to whisper someone, do you also have to type in the their #? (For those who use ./c or ./w. Second, so thnere can be two accounts with the same username, but different #, so in game when someone chats, the numver will appear too? Just like the whispers? Third, about the whispers, can the code be colored too.. looks weird when its just grey. Fourth, so when we play there will be two people woth the same user, in the sham list, will there be the # too? And also about the mice that get in, will the names have # too? Fifth, when we play for example my name, so someone can also make another account named Alihamoud but with abother code? How can we differentiate when playing, neglecting looking at the profile. Finally, for the discord users, will our new # appear near our names? So others would be able to differentiate between each other.

My friend just made a good point on something. What if I create an account named 'Yolo' and the password is: 'mrpoopie365'. Then I create a 'Yolo' account again with the same password.

In what character will I sign in to?
I know that chances are low for this to be happening, but it can happen anytime. And the game can't tell me that it's the incorrect password because then I'll know someone else's pass

Will the nickname in the events come with the discriminator?
Will we save the player data using the discriminator or the nickname?

being able to use numbers and underscores in nicknames is absolutely enough for anyone to come up with something original especially when it was implemented pretty recently so do you actually think that something like this is necessary? there are so many names used because i believe anyone who spent a few years playing this game has created at least 10-20 alts just for fun lmao (including ME) so maybe simply start requiring a different email address for each account to kinda discourage people from getting a new one for 3 minutes just to never use it again OR get a new system only for dead maze cause apparently this game is the only problem here, i dont actually see the reason behind connecting tfm and dead maze since it has no use besides causing problems

I hate this idea, please don't do this to us

- Its gonna be hard to remember all those codes, for example when somebody have #19412 - How I am supposed to remember it?! There will also be more people with the same name, and I can't send a message to a person without that code
- People who changed their name before and paid for it? Hah, let's give everybody this for free later! Because who cares, its only 1500 fraises! Really? I mean, really?!
- Oh! I see somebody with a cool name, let's copy it and make an account with the same name, because why not?! Its gonna be hard to have an original name because others will probably copy it
- Talking with more people at the same time - everybody for example on room 1, and they all have the same name - who I am talking to right now? I need to check their profile to see who sent a message every single time?!

There are still a lot of original names that people could use, so please don't try to make this game worse than it already is.

All this will do is encourage people to try and buy usernames with a decent tag number i.e #5000 since short usernames will be easy to obtain. Another thing that I don't like is the fact that having a 3-4 letter username will more than likely become the new standard username that you see in almost every room, thus making longer usernames abnormal and "uncool"

Why are we as a playerbase never consulted before things like this are rolled out? I have been told that even staff were not made aware of this change until just today.

This is a terrible idea and will drive players away from the games. I see no tangible benefit of this and I highly doubt it will attract new players.

We won't be able to use staff members names!

So, we can't impersonate staff members.... Well, what if two people have the same name, and one of them later become a mod. Would the other person be considered a "impersonator" and have his name be force to changed, for free? It seems rather unfair for this other person to have his name be changed, because his namesake have become a mod, and we have a "no staff impersonators" policy. Too many things to considered before this happen: too many concerns, loopholes, fakers, doppelgängers... I'm worried about this game, its fragile future. I love this game and would like this affair to be addressed.
