Endered a dit :
What are the specifics for black listing?

If a tribe puts a blacklist on their OP with people's usernames on the list, the people on the list are not allowed to post on that tribe's thread. If they do post, they can be reported and their post moderated. If they keep posting when they have been asked not to, they will most likely get a warning, and if they still persist then they might get a mute ban. I think.

Not really, the blacklist depends on what the leader wants. It can be [i.e. Not joining tribe, not talking to members]. It doesn't necessarly have to be not talking on that thread..

Endered was talking about the kind of blacklisting I talked about as she just got blacklisted in that way.

My guess would be to put info on the ''Greeting Message'' in your tribe.

Hello here is a guide (made by qt Loli) on how to create a tribe that is aesthetically pleasing and makes a good impression. There are many elements to making a great tribe. Now one tribe might not be better than the other, but you can make your tribe better than the average one by adding in many components, such as banners, artwork, and side events.

So what is a tribe?
A tribe is a group of Transformice players who are banded together in a group, and are called by a name, such as Resurrection, Aeromice United, or Kakadu.

What will make my tribe different from other tribes?
A tribe may be unique in its ways, such as the main thread being completely image-based. Or it may all be text but organized by larger fonts. But there ARE essentials to creating a tribe that will catch others' eyes.

• A tribe banner
- A tribe banner helps set one tribe apart from another. Your tribe banner should represent your tribe, such as blurry mice for a racing-type tribe, or a mouse in a tophat for a "gentlemens" club if you will. Do not create a tribe named "Friendly Mice" and then spread terrorists with knives all around your page.

Example

- The banner is Halloween themed and the tribe is called, "Halloween Halos." So obviously if you enjoy Halloween, this tribe is right for you.

• A few members - Having a few members before going public doesn't hurt. If you attempt to recruit without many members, make sure you put on a stunning impression. It is easier to recruit 3-5 mice before creating your thread. Nowadays, it is harder to catch mice because of the sheer number of tribes.

•Rules and requirements
- Setting rules for mice to follow and requirements to join will help keep your tribe in order as well as looking fit. Rules will help other players know what to do and what not to do. "No trolling" will attract the serious mice, while "Don't rage" will attract easygoing players who can take everything. Inserting a few jokes here and there doesn't hurt (:
Requirements will help set your standard. Requirements will also help other players know that there will be no particular types of mice in this tribe. Requirements can range from 2500+ firsts to a good attitude. Maybe even going to as far as an application form will tell you if a player can be trustworthy. You can usually tell if a player is lazy or hard-working by the way they fill out their application. Highly recommended if you want the best of players.

Example
Welcome to Halloween Halos! There are a few rules to follow...
1) No trolling
2) No name calling
3) Respect all members

Want to join?
You must have:
1) 5000 cheese gathered
2) 2500 mice saved.
3) Able to wall-jump.

•Member roster
- A member roster will help your tribe stay organized, as well as keeping record of whatever you want, as well as showing how many mice are in the tribe. Tribes with many members are usually the ones with the most hopefuls. With a member roster, you can store important information (NOT a/s/l!... Okay maybe a/s/l/ but that's not going to help) about a player so that you can appear to be a "great leader that knows every mouse"!

Example
• Scottish - Spiritual Chief - Leader
• Levimunhoz - Spiritual Chief - Co-Leader
• Modogeek - Recruiter - Sub-Leader
• Anastasy - Treasurer - Sub-Leader
• Redditguy - Soldier - Member
• Naminee - Soldier - Member
• Modmj - Cooker - New Member
• Artkiller - Stooge - Pending Entrance

• A Newsfeed
- A noticeboard would help tribe members stay up-to-date with current events with the tribe and the game. Always keep the noticeboard up to date. If a tribe member cannot access the game after a new update, then why not post what is happening right now? Such as ballon implementation, bootcamp mode, etc. The noticeboard can also be used to keep the tribe in orderly fashion. If there are any changes, such as "This player has been expelled..." etc. etc., then the whole tribe will be able to be informed.

•Side events
- Some tribes go even further than other tribes and proceed to creating a currency system in their tribes, or creating a tribe racing log. Nothing much to explain here, just go for your creativity! ^_^

Example
Attention HHers! We will have an in-tribe race today, and the winner of the race will be promoted!...

•Keep Organized!
- Keep your tribe organized. Make sure everything is in correct order. Don't jam everything into a wall of text. Separate different aspects of the tribe by a few lines of blanks or banners.

Example
"hi, we're halloween halos. we are a great tribe, and we accept few mice. You must fill the requirements, as well as follow our rules. Our leaders are Scottish, Levimunhoz and Modogeek. We ha ve 4 members, and another leader is Anastasy."
^No.

•Keep It Clean
- Obviously, don't use swears, racism, etc., this will downgrade your tribe. Feel free to say whatever you want in-game, but on the forums, a clean page is is essential. Some players might be offended by your acts, even if you are joking.

Example
Join our ****ing tribe or else you will be a noob.
^ NO.

•English : A+
- Make sure to look out for typos, grammar errors, punctuation, etc etc. You will want to punctuate, spell, and use every word correctly so that you make a great impression. A little misspell here or there will not hurt: it is easily fixed. But 30 typos is unacceptable. Spell words correctly! It will help make your tribe information easier to read. Make sure grammar, such as tense, is correct, so that your hopeful will not have to sit there on the computer for hours, and then saying, "Meh, screw this. I'm moving to the other tribe."

Hm I made a tribe called "bootcamp blast" and its for bootcampers. in the greeting message I made sure I put "No Cussing" in it, and not even "close to cusswords" like "mofo".

that "Join out ****ing tribe or else you will be noob?" THAT MESSAGE IS FROM A NOOB'S MOUTH lolololol I
hope you don't use that for your message people :) Thank you, and goodbye.
