What's the thing with people wanting certain pokemon caught in a certain ball?

Like someone wanting a Buneary in a Love Ball?? I don't get this at all

It's probably because they want the special effect when it comes out into battle
Not to mention that love balls are g/s /c/hg/ss exclusives, so it shows that they took the effort to transfer it all the way to gen 6

^ Tbh I'd want everything in a pokeball. The animations get tiresome after a while. just like the shiny animation, at some point you just want it to stop.

When I'm catching Pokémon, I always try to catch them in a ball that matches their colours, personally. Like, I caught Rayquaza in a Nest Ball and Skitty in a Heal Ball, for example. I think it's a nice touch and it looks good on their summaries.
