Saying 2(a² - ab) = 1(a² - ab) implies 2 = 1 is incorrect because you're assuming that a² - ab is non-zero but, in this case, it is zero :p

Not completely relevant, but 99.99% repeated just equals 100%. (Or supposedly according to this thread)

Alright, into some irrational thinking about 99.99%

99.99%. 9 999/10 000. Why not 100% or 1? It's a bit like how US prices go. You find most things being sold at $9x.99. $99.99. Not $100. $9.99. Not $10. They do this to make the prices seem smaller. In fact, the sum of digits are higher in 99.99 than 100(36 and 1 respectively), thence making it seem like a bigger number than 100 at first glance, to me at least. now in terms of math. 99.99%. Where did the .01% go? Hiding. Well I haven't learnt the entire thing on messing with percentages and how to use them(only basic stuff) but we can generally say that we are not 100% sure of things. Math is usually simple as black and white. There's one definite right answer, and infinite wrong answers. When you do a question, think you got the right answer, you're usually 99.99% sure that you're right, unless you unluckily hit one of the many wrong answers. Psychology swaps the ratios. When you claim you said something, it's also even then 99.99% chance of it being correct, unless you actually had some reliable source to push in that extra .01%. It could have been all a dream. Nothing is ever perfect, in and out of reality, out and under facts, taking away that .01% certainty, hence the creation of 99.99%.

A theory I thought of a while back is that nothing occurs at exactly the same time. No matter what the two things are, they may occur as little as .00000000000000000000000000001 seconds apart. That would be rather hard to test!
