I don't get the point of why they needed to make another Xbox. Aren't they making an Xbox 720? (or whatever the number is)

They tried to compete with pc gaming/steam/handholds together with console gaming. And they wanted to make it so they could make maximum profit and maximum security and prevent any issues for themselves.

If they would have gotten away with it, that would have been the issue. But they tried to do too much with no consideratino for the consumer.

Also It is quite bad that ps4 got away with it that you have to pay for online play.

well they do provide servers and resources for it so im not too sure about that

I think they focused to much on the non-gamign part of the Xbox One.

It's supposed to be a sort of all in one console, but it has restrictions to gaming.
Which might cause it's downfall. They need to focus more on the gaming part of the console.

Xbox huh. I have so many accounts on xbox live. atleast 5. My most recent one is LagLikeMOFO not gunna be on that one anymore. soon im buying my own xbox. Fuck xbox one I heard shitty things about it. But yet again i have heard good things about it. It has a nice intel core proccessor wich is supposed to bring the frame rate up incredibly. But the ps4 has a better one. Although im not buying either im just goind to stick to the regular xbox360. And the games i play. I only play 1 series: Call of Duty. No dont ask i fucking hate halo. If i had to choose between halo and cod i would choose cod in less then a heartbeet.

A subscription for this type of service isn't much of a surprise- in fact it's more surprising that online was made free for the PS3. This and the increased price of games will compensate the loss of manufacturing the upgraded hardware.
