In case you missed it, he said you CAN'T place and break blocks. Races in Minecraft are only available through mods.

The point is, in here you can't modify the terrain at all. Not even the owner of the world/server.

More things that are different:

-The crafting system isn't as complicated. You just need the raw materials, press a button, and it loads a bar for two seconds and pops in your inventory.

-It's always third person

-You can view the world in a map screen.

-Combat isn't horrible. You have to auto aim, and dodge around your target and you don't swing your hand up in down. There's more skills, weapons, classes. The game plays a big part in fighting.

-More adventure. You can climb, hang glide, sail, and such.

The basic person that joins the website blog will comment "this looks like minecraft" because it's voxel. But the game really isn't minecraft at all. Of course the developer caught some inspiration but I would never compare it too much.

I heard about this game last 2 years ago and was really hyped.And no,just because a game has voxels doesn't mean it's a minecraft copy.The gameplay is completely different.Also I'm aiming for either a rogue or a sniper(archer).

There is testers making youtube videos of it.
The game isn't out yet.
For example it was given to Bluexephos , Inthelittlewood etc.
It's far from done in my opinion.

Agreed. There's no missions except for fighting monsters.

I honestly can't see why people think Cube World would be the same as Minecraft. It's not even close. The only similarities is the blockular experience and the world generation-type thing.
I mean, seriously. Cube World focuses on the objective of fighting. In Minecraft, it's more complex. In Minecraft, you mine, you craft, you build, you fight, you explore. I mean, come on. If you haven't played the game, don't judge it. I mean, it doesn't look like the type of game I would play, but it does look kind of fun. I just might try it out someday.
