I wish Light/Kira won. Fight me. It was really hard seeing him suffer like that in the last episode :'^( Ffs Light's plan was full proof, it was only because Mikami fucked up.

Speaking of which, the writers got really lazy with Near. L worked out his conclusions with proper clues and logic, and even then he acknowledged that they were only just theories that could be disproved. But Near pulled conclusions right out of his arse:
''There's a second Kira, let's call him X-Kira. Just trust me on this one, k? Now who could he be... OH I KNOW! HE'S THIS RANDOM DUDE CALLED MIKAMI! How do I know? He's been on a couple of talk shows voicing his passionate support for Kira. Irrefutable proof! Mikami is X-Kira. Concluded. Also his nose is kinda shaped like a triangle. Kira is an invention of the Loominarty. I'm such a genius!''
