Yea I can understand how it might seem way weird if you hop directly from wc3 dota over to dota 2. I had a 2-3 year break from WC3 before getting into Dota 2 beta, so I had no such trouble adjusting and was really comfortable with the game straight away (apart from having to catch up on some balance updates).

I still highly suggest you make the change over within the year. Although Valve released the game out of beta, it's still all sorts of unfinished as far as performance and matchmaking goes, so delaying the switch for a bit isn't a bad idea anyway. I would probably be playing a lot more if there just weren't so many russians and flamers ruining a big portion of the games.

Mine is meepo

I play mostly #4 and #5 (due to no one else in pubs ever playing support, or if they do, they're awful at it), but I enjoy offlaning/solo safelaning the most. Clockjerk and WR in Dota 2, Potm and Clinkz in WC3 dota (can't adjust to Clinkz attack anim in dota2 and Potm arrow is way too flashy for it to be a consistent pick). Weaver gets a special mention because I like being annoying. Clockjerk is the all-time favorite, there's no game or position where he isn't viable.

Oh yeah, and rubick. A good rubick game where you can farm a fast blink/forcestaff is more fun than anything else.

Since I'm still massively new to this, I still have to try out a lot of the heros (tend to click random or single draft) but my favourites are probably Witch Doctor, Leshrac, Broodmother and Viper. first of all dota is a battle simulator game, leage of legendes is a well known open world mmo similar to skyrim but much older, and world of warcraft is a fighting game i hope this answers ur question ^^

I'll probably be able to play Invoker with my feet or eyes closed in wc3 soon. Invoker is my favorite. Other favorites worth mentioning; SF (second fav), Mortred, Windrunner, Ember, Pudge etc..

Also we weren't fightning :P And yeah Prr; I'm waiting for to be forced to get on dota2 actually.

deamaus is one of the worst invokers i've ever seen tbh

i play mid in my dota 2 team we win our games but im not very good lulz puck is the best hero though

support is best to play in pubs, you can feed, have no farm, have no gold or anything and no one even gives a shit, its much more relaxing than playing 1 and getting bitched at by russians about how its your fault that you lost

Dota2 should get Goblin Techies imo..

Ugh Techies. There are more important heroes to come first ok (EMBER SPIRIT) and I think when phoenix is ported valve will make it look awesome. Techies will be just like meepo was, everyone will be all hyped and whatever and then no one will play it because they suck hard.

Surely eventually you'll HAVE to switch over to Dota 2. SURELY. I'll be waiting :^)
