Picking back up in April 2014, the series looks to pick up where it left off when it previously concluded. My own information...

On December 28 of 2013 Hiro Mashima confirmed the return of the anime Fairy Tail, it may or may not be coming back with the same title (if it does, probably "Fairy Tail (sequel)").

The anime has come back with the same cast, but different illustrating director, so art may/or may not be different from usual.

It is said with the new updates/addings from the haitus the anime has been on, it is said to be at its "full" potential.

The anime returning has had some clues about coming back before Hiro Mashima's confirmation of it returning. On his twitter he said "Don't stop believing" and that the anime will continue soon.

The anime is said to start off where it took off at episode 175 in the middle of the Grand Magic Games arc, there are many reasons why the anime was concluded:

*Lucy's voice actor was in scandal (but fixed now)
*The manga needed to catch up with anime
*The show had to be moved to fit in more shows
*The ratings of the anime were lowering
-And much more
-------------

As of right now, the manga has catched up with the anime, and more chapter have been made; the continuation of the Grand Magic Games arc with the 7 dragons coming out of the time portal, the Sun Village arc, and the beginning of the Tartarus arc. So because of the addition of the new arcs (Sun Village and Tartarus) and the other half of the Grand Magic Games arc, it was predictable that the anime was not stopping and going to continue later on.

The rating of the anime may/or may not change, some of the recent/not that recent chapters of Fairy Tail have had Erza and the rest of Team Natsu naked, so let's hope the animators will put clothes on that and keep the rating the same.

It is said to return with 2 new seasons with each 48 episodes, at least this is an hypothesis. It may come back with more episodes than we expect, but that's be a miricle since the manga seems it's about to unveil the darkest spell in Zeref's book of demons called the- Oops, I'm spoiling it for you!

It is also said the anime will be coming in the spring of 2014 in April, probably english sub? Anyways, if you like english dub I believe the english dub version of season 2 is coming out, and will soon be in Netflex along with season 1 of Fairy Tail.

Thank god, that was a lot of writing. My friend was so excited about this, so she forced me to make posts on it on all the forums of all the games I knew. Anyways, I'm pretty excited about this, and I'm also thankful for the help on the EN Chat Thread because I DID NOT WANT TO SEARCH FOR THIS THREAD BECAUSE MY WRIST IS ACHING.

Anyways, I will get back to tring to find an addicting anime to watch while you can continue doing whatever you were doing.
