Have you tamed a wolf yet? Sometimes pet dogs can help you fight enemies, but they can get hurt :<. If they get hit too much, you can give them pork chops and stuff, and they'll be all better ^^!

I don't think so... The only MOB that can really take blocks are endermen.

Btw, you know those vines that grow on trees in the swamp biomes? Monsters can't see through it :3

If you make yourself a vine hideout you can jump out and kill the monster before they see chu.
