I don't play with the dolls but I did watch a lot of Barbie movies (and I still enjoy them to this day) I don't see why people think they need stick thin bodies like those dolls do because isn't that extremely bad for your health? >.>

I may be missing a lot of stuff here though so anyone can feel free to correct me on this

I don't think Barbies are the reason younq qirls want to be thin little popsicle sticks.. It's the media and bullyinq and who they "idolize" like Miley Cyrus who is on a downhill roller coaster and it won't stop til she crashes.. and such.. alot of the people in this world is all about their looks.. I use to play with barbies even had a barbie doll house.. barbie beetle car.. I'm not skinny.. I'm not extremely fat but.. I'm.. "chubby"? and am okay to say that.. the only reason I'd like to lose weiqht (Become a qood healthy weiqht) Is to live a lonq life. I quess barbies could be some people's reasons.. but ehh.. I don't care. if you think I'm uqly by my weiqht or how I look that's your problem. I'm me and you have to deal with it. ^_^' I'm not chanqinq for anyone but myself and for my health. I'm fine.
And I can certainly tell you this.. younq tweens or teenaqers certainly don't have "Barbie" on their brain. it's the media and such.. maybe some qirls.. have the problem from barbie but I bet 99% of it is how the skinny little sinqers and acters and MODELS look the younq qirls see the younq quys droolinq all over them and want to be them cause they are younq and insecure.. Sure! blame the plastic doll that can't defend itself. xD So much easier riqht? I won't even mention how much parents effect this. my post would be way too lonq..

I hate the Barbie dolls so much. I admit I did play with dolls when I was younger, but the only dolls I didn't play with were Barbie and Bratz. I never played with Barbie because I thought she was creepy. I heard something about Barbie dolls being dangerous in the past, and I never knew they had such a huge impact on girls.

I guess this is why there are so many girls in my school that try to look and act pretty, because of Barbie. I know what Barbie looks like because of those commercials and my sister has a few of the dolls. And, why the heck would anybody wanna act and look like her? She's just a fictional character. It would be impossible to look exactly like her.

I don't really like barbies,like Kayleekitti,maybe I did play with it once or twice or a million times.I always thought Barbies were evil and they were like killers.I always had hidious dreams about them.I always disliked the "shape" feature.I mean like,who wants to feel and like at barbie's ass?

The eyes are creepy.If one's near my I go hysterical and start screaming and runing around the house and cry like a fucking crazy drunk.

believe it or not people actually are affected by barbie dolls and are influenced by them but it's not like i don't blame media and stuff too
this is just one of the influences of eating disorders and other things but i'd rather not get too much into detail about the other things

When I was little, I'm being honest, I played with Barbie dolls. Mostly Dora dolls, though. My sibling used to tell me stories about barbie dolls coming to life at night, and murdering me in my sleep.

I was a little creeped out that time, but now, I have a feeling that my sibling told me that for a reason.

Did I also mention that you can rip their heads off? It's fun :D

I think dolls are great for young people. When I was 14 my friends and I used to get Ken and Barbie to make love - lighting up the mood here -

But in all seriousness, it's more of the MEDIA that has those effects, if you know what I mean. I don't see any harm in them.

I had a Barbie doll when I was 5-7 years old and I thought she was ugly (she still is). I cut her hair, cut the clothes and glue them in different parts, changed her face with markers and such just so she wouldn't be so terrifying o_o
Anywho, if the kids are social, they won't be ''afected'' by the Barbie doll, since they have friends and they see the real world, real people. Barbies are just..... dolls. They're supposed to be toys. Just toys. It depends on peoples' minds if they want to become a Barbie or not. I mean, I think I'm fat and ugly, but I'm not gonna be some skinny fuck-face to be more attractive. And if I manage to create a family, I don't want my husband or my kids to know I'm fake.
