You get the virus when you open the e-mail.
You know it's the 'virus e-mail' when you don't know the person at all, and it's not something like advertisements...

delete any emails you get that you dont trust then
never open anything in spam

did you not read a single word of that excerpt which says as long as your client doesnt allow scripting ya should be ok

alternatively yeah just dont be dumb and open emails from people you dont know

Anyways: The "Warriors Trilogy" game has 4 members. I feel so bad for those 3 members (one of them is website owner) because they are probably hacked by the virus long ago.
They may never be able to fix it.
