The original Maplestory is better in my opinion.

Just my opinion but i am hyped up for this game.
other than intensive lag i think i will enjoy this.

From the videos, i dont think you need any real money currency to purchase hairstyle and eye.
and the shirt customisation is awesome (though it will be abused)

Kyrin came to victora and gathered up pirates because of the black mage so since this is the 'prequel' I think it's logical there's no 'pirate' class

Oh and the system requirements are actually really low!! So I doubt you'll be lagging a lot with settings on low

That make-up lady is pretty badass.
I know this is somewhat like an alternative universe thing, but it's still baffling me how they would get a much more advanced world that takes BEFORE Maplestory.

Maplestory 2 is officially launched in Korea!

I did hear that in order to play it in there, you will need to buy a MS2 korea account to get in, because it only allows verified players from Korea.
Meaning the game itself is korean as well.

IM SO HYPE AAA ;-;

Can't wait, don't know what class I'd be though.. Maybe the just the run of the mil archer as usually, or maybe a bandit. Whatever suits me best at the time..

Speaking of which -- when the game does come out here -- Would there be a Transformice guild as a fun little thing, or no?

Watched a little bit of game-play, game looks really interesting and it's something I'll probably get addicted too like the original haha. It's gonna be a lot of fun figuring out what the best gear is and what the fastest ways to level are. I'm curious as to how grinding is gonna be like now, especially with 3d playing fields.

Bosses look hella fun though !

Something kinda tells me though that it's gonna be a long while before the game reaches here -- But maybe that's just me.

Is interesting as KSing is totally fine, because as long as you hit once on a mob, if it is killed by other players you still get the full exp, so normally you will see a horde of people.

Drops are quite common to obtain, though you can buy them from a weapon/overall shop, which they are also unique as they change stock every day unless if you spend a small sum of money to get the new stocks :o
