IK, it requires great knowledge of code to implement such things. I'm training on becoming a programmer and an artist.

It's actually not that hard, since there's already a filter in game. Dunno what artist has to do with this though.

Dunno how a guest can be rude anyway, they can't talk. And if their gameplay bothers you, make use of votekick. That's what it's there for.

Guests should have a name if they want. There are mods, and they could add a filter to the register and guest login c: For example, it could say "This name is innapropiate! < Sorry for spelling x3.And if we had no guests. then how would we play when there is a near-finished update? c:

Votekick/voteban is when you type "/ban [name]" into the chat, when the majority of the room targets a specific user with this command, they get kicked from the room for an hour.

Right now, at certain times of the day, i can't even log in unless on a guest account (An issue that hasn't been dealt with yet for whatever reason). So i definitely see the value of guest accounts. I usually try not to get firsts on guest accounts because they don't count, it's a bit of a dick move imo. However, that's the only difference between getting beat by a guest and an actual account, either way you get beat by the same user. There is no need to be upset dot gif.

Rewind is a nice guest that comes around often.

Why do people need to try out the game before making an account? It takes like 2 minutes max and most other multiplayer games don't have guest modes..

I played on guest before I created my account, personally. I just wanted a feel of the game to see if I was interested.

I actually love guests
for me, they arent really annoying and they're funny to look at because they don't know what to do

i like fidgeting at them and ducking in front of them and them ducking back

I honestly think that most guests are trying out the game, seeing if they like it.
Then if they decided to play the game, they could go ahead and make an account.
No harm in that.

I find it fun watching guests when they're Shaman, trying to figure things out.

Guests aren't all that bad..

I only get annoyed when they're shaman and they cannon everyone... Or when they steal your firsts.

Otherwise, I enjoy messing around with them ; I go in front of them and blow confetti in their face ;)

Sometimes i play as guest, i use a name that my friends could recognise.
Pro guests can be both the kindest (as *pip)and the worst (*stampede)

They are so needed, yes.
I bet between 70 and 80% of the players started playing as a guest, I did and know many others who did the same.
As for guest’s trolling in general... It's just perfect for breaking the monotony, don't you think? You must admit they enter some pretty fun names even if they are not so appropriate.

I don't play in survivor, but I know it wouldn't be the same without guests :(

I don't have problems with the guests.

Guests do sort of get in the way, and it takes 5 seconds to make an account. Maybe guests could have a separate rooms that they can't leave, like /room guest1-10. and they can't leave those rooms, but account players can join in there (if they want). This would make it easier for them to play without disrupting everyone else.

And if a guest is disrupting make use of vote kick. Don't inconvenience new players who are checking the game out on guest just because someone trolling on a guest pissed you off.

If they're segregated into their own rooms, they won't get a true feel of the game and probably won't join.

This sounds very similar to games that have the "free accounts but get a premium account to get even MORE!!" games, which as far as I've noticed aren't very liked for the userbase transformice comprises of. Most mmorpgs that have this usually limit regular users to certain areas but premium users get the whole overworld. I know they are successful despite using this tactic but look at the design of the games and the amount of stuff even regular users can do to stay satisfied. Transformice doesn't really offer that because as a guest you can't talk or interact with any of the other guests or actual users, have stats counted and staying, etc. It just wouldn't work for people who are trying it out. Plus regular users would just farm firsts in those rooms.

This isn't similar at all, it takes 5 seconds to create an account and get access to everything, the reason of guests is to try the game out before signing up, just to see what it's like. And it could be changed were firsts couldn't count for normal players.

I've seen guests with inappropriate name and guests with "pro" abilities...

They can also be irritating bats if you know what I mean. Even if a Guest refuses to enter the gate with or without cheese. (does that verse rhyme so far?)

...too lazy to point out more stuff... even though some new people wanted to try out Transformice / other games from Atelier 801 because... it looks appealing unlike a banana. But some "Guests" just wanted to steal firsts just for their self-esteem and fun with the mixture of sins. (please note not to share relics with guest mice) But to let the seizure out of its cage, i'm just going ahead and say we do need guest mice with or without expectation of what're they gonna do.
