What's you guys thought on Mario Party 10? I've been thinking on preordering it for a while now... should I?
-Kind of iffy on the whole 4 in one kart returning-

I have MP10 with Mario amiibo preordered, the minigames look really fun and the exclusive amiibo just adds on value.

I won't buy MP10 day one, but I will at some point, mainly when a friend of mine comes back from college on vacation. I kinda like the 4 in one car thing and they at least tried to make the boards more interesting, plus Bowser. Does the boss VS. screen come back? I remember seeing that for the first time with my friend and we just laughed our asses off over how over-the-top it was.



The characters do seem to have more of a personality this time around too.

Disappointed that it's only compatible with Wiimote and Gamepad but a part of me knew that was gonna happen. Also disappointed about no online mode but I can deal with that. Not really excited about the amiibo mode.

I'll get it eventually, just not day 1.

The reason for the car thing is that Hudson owns the rights to the original formula, and Hudson isn't making MP games anymore, so we're stuck with the car until Hudson comes back. The only way is through a spiritual successor or new series.

The vs. screen looks mad hype but really needs the dumb lightning, maybe it's the timing of the screenshot and the lightning's there but still, that's the over-the-top stuff Mario Party needs.

So apparently SPIKE is supposed to be in Mario Party 10 as a playable character because of this art:



Why Spike? Why can't I have Boo or Shy Guy back? ;-;

-No coins
-Mini stars instead of stars
-No items (Beside dice items)
-4 in one car
-No minigame after everyone is done with their turn
-Only wii remote and gamepad controllers
-Short boards

Jeez, I liked MP9 but they should have made more rules or at least made the boards huge. I really wonder if there would be DLC for this game.

I only want the minigames, really. They're so fun.

This is prob going to be my favorite thing about MP10:

Man, the thing that can save this game is DLC, there needs to be more characters if not more modes/boards.

I think Toadette's animation is just Toad's reskinned...

Apparently, Mario party 10 actually got released 18.3 over here at europe [Gamestop], that's pretty odd... They're also having a super sale type of deal on the actuall release date. The luck is unreal and the world is going unbalanced.

e: The Mario Party 10 wiki finally updated.

I saved these two from being thrown away at work the other day. Now we have Mario Party 10 signs up but still, man I love MM3D's artwork.

Well it's partially confirmed, we only know a Nintendo Direct is gonna happen and there's a high chance that this is a coincidence. IF the guy happened to also leak their "This direct is no joke" tagline, then the rest of the leak would be a lot more believable.
