Okay, this post is extremely misguided. One, lion hunting is legal and lions are not endangered. The issue isn't that a lion was killed, it was that a lion was POACHED off a NATIONAL PARK.

If Cecil wasn't a resident of the park, killing him would not have been a crime or even a tragedy. It wouldn't have made the news and no one would have batted an eye.

ALSO, we don't know if Palmer was actually responsible for the poaching. Since Cecil was lured off the Park grounds, his guides could have been the ones only knowingly involved in poaching and presented Cecil as a wild lion to Palmer. Although his innocence is questionable due to his previous record of illegal hunting.

Regardless, people who have been giving him such hate need to calm down. Mia Farrow tweeted out his address, and that's just not okay. Regardless of someone's crimes, you do not dox or try to inflict any "social justice" on someone. I'm honestly disappointed in how some people are handling this incident.

This just disgusts me! I am a huge animal fan, and I absolutely hate any animal killing that is for self-benefit and enjoyment.

This really angers me, whoever did this should be sorry for such a cruel act.
Whoever is cruel enough to bring pain to or kill innocent animals (if not necessary for the animal's well-being) should be punished immediately.

However, I trust Saelus-- and I value him as a reliable source.
Either way, I still think that whoever it is that caused the killing of Cecil should be punished.

Maybe lions are not endangered, but i'd be just as angry if he killed any other animal, because it is SICK to kill for fun, even if didn't lured him out of the park, it is still fucking sick, and karma has a nice nice punishment ready for him, i'm sure.
Yeah, maybe the news wouldn't be so huge if it wasen't a popular lion, because it was popular it made the news, if it was a normal lion, and made the news, i'd still be as mad as now. just because it is FUCKING SICK

It's offensive to those of us who actually do have mental disorders, because there's as is a great stigma surrounding us -- people who say things like this only make it worse. Yeah, that's my thoughts. Regardless, what he did was bad; but he supposedly was unaware who the lion was.

Stop wishing death on someone just because they did something you don't approve of. Nobody deserves to die. You're sitting here crying over the death of a lion yet wishing death upon a human? Mmmmmm feels a weeeeeeeeee bit hypocritcal.
