I work at an amusement park. Nothing really happens except what you'd expect. The rides sometimes breaking down, people getting sick, etc etc.

Nothing special.

Zakryah a dit :
Daapplehead a dit :
I passed out on Bizarro at Six Flags because my family bought these expensive passes that let you book rides and ride them twice in a row.
So since I haven't ever been on a roller coaster until that summer (last summer to be exact) they took me to every single one, getting progressively worse and worse and made Bizarro the last ride. My brothers and my father said I rode it once just to satisfy them that I could actually do it- but I would be a real pro and trooper if I could do it twice in a row since we had the passes (a lot of people were mad we had those passes since we cut through lines and went straight on board the entire day) so after the second ride began I don't really remember much other than the huge drop.

I apparently had passed out for a few minutes and had to be carried off the ride, and as I was waking up I still couldn't walk straight and kept bumping into people.

The positive side is that I was sat down and given ice cream, so it didn't end up totally awful.

I almost drowned too, Mixels haha.
That being when I was very young at Six Flags' waterpark. I never went back.
Actually now that I think about it- I don't think any of my family goes to the waterpark.

The men in my family love rollercoasters.

dude ive been on bizarro like hundreds of times it aint that bad

also i grew up next to, literally right new to, six flags so amusement parks arent a big deal to me

For you it might've not been that bad but I'm not you- so we have different experiences.

Good for you that you can handle a roller coaster. Just know that some other people like myself aren't so fond of them (especially with a fear of heights that makes the experience a bit more scarier).

yikes :^(
On one ride I went on we needed to be seated with three other people so this little boy filled in the fourth spot, and meanwhile while I'm afraid as hell my dad and brother ask him if he was scared- and he said that he wasn't and said he had fun because I was nearly crying and it was funny.
Some people have nerves of steel.

well it wasn't technically at the amusement park but i almost locked everyone out of our hotel room in 2014 when we went to disneyworld
i dropped my magicband thing on the ground and couldn't find it for the longest time, and that's what you used to unlock the resort rooms

My dad nearly got locked out of his hotel room at a Disney Land resort. He opened the door to put something out there and he locked himself out. My sis, mom and I were sleeping so he was out there for like 10 minutes, until he knocked hard enough to wake us up.

I forgot that I didn't share any experiences myself, so here's a few:
I lost a pair of glasses at Disney World. When we went back there the next day at the 'Lost and Found' station we surprisingly found them.
At Lego-Land there was either a storm or something, I can't recall, but my family and I were about to go on one of those boat-rides, and they shut down the ride as soon as we sat down in the boat. Really sucks when you're next in line and an employee says they're on pause until further notice.

Well, first amusement park I went to was Adventure Park USA. I read a roller coaster called the Wildcat because I thought I could handle it
Did not end well. (I liked the Teacups though)
And I went to Hershey park and rode the...Sky High, I think?
Didn't end well either
And then one of the counselors (we went there for a summer camp) told me to get on this old wooden roller coaster because it was 'slower'
THAT THING WAS NOT SLOWER.
and they also had this Karaoke stand where if you sung a song you won a prize, and I'm pretty sure one of the kids was singing 'Let It Go' (Let it NO.)

The game in the arcade where you put in coins and it rolls down, to push all the other coins off the platform? I spent hundreds of dollars on it and that's basically why I even go to amusement parks.

I worked for Cedar Fair (Cedar Point, Dorney, Knott's, King's Island, King's Dominion, etc) for three years, so I pretty much love them. I have a season pass and live very close to 3 of their parks, so I go to one every 2-3 weeks all season.

I've been to Disney World 20+ times, Land 4-5 times, I go to Six Flags every once in a while (although I don't like them as much as Cedar Fair's parks.. but I'm biased)

I'm still too wimpy to ride a roller coaster tbh. Being afraid of heights doesn't help either ._.
