I wish Infernape learned Ice Punch. But he can't, I tried to tutor him it. It would make Infernape a lot better, that way he doesn't get completely walled by dragon types. Though there are sooo many Choice Scarfed Garchomps

I like my mega Houndoom against Garchomp's or other dragons because of Mega Houndoom insane special attack, and the fact that mine has:

Flamethrower
Nasty Plot
Hidden Power (Ice)
Dark Pulse

it makes for some great coverage. But since Houndoom is so frail you have to time your switch in, so you can mega and set up.

I usually switch in on a grass type, like Meganium or Ferrothorn. They almost always switch out, giving perfect opportunity to set up

I just explained my whole reason for having HP Ice and Nasty Plot

Switch in on say a Ferrothorn -> Mega Evolve -> Use Nasty Plot, and by the time the Garchomp or whatever comes in you're at x2 Special Attack. And HP Ice is a Special Attack
