If people are getting harassed that badly then they really should be contacting a mod as it is taken very seriously. People act like mods should be everywhere at once as if that's even slightly possible. If you don't report it, then majority of the time it won't get solved.

Regardless my opinion does matter because, shocking as it may seem, I am also a player and I will voice my opinion on updates should I wish to do so. So as I have said, I think this is a great idea and sorry you don't like it!

This shouldn't be coming. Many immature people would find themselves inclined to change their name into an obscene word-- a right given, of course, but misused. In my experience I have never found this [finding good names] a problem, nor have my friends. They are as contented with their name as I am with mine.

I guess, the Authority have thought otherwise: now they're implementing a system that will result much backlash. It would've been nice for them to ask for our thoughts regarding the system before they go on to develop. Too much to ask, I guess. I have read this thread thoroughly; most seem to agree with me. Hardly a polarizing debate with most people leaning to the this-shouldn't-happen side.

This idea has been under much scrutiny ever since it had been announced. People have found that there's many more cons than pros. Please listen to us, Atelier, I plead you. Save the last remnant of your community from anguish, frustration. Thank you.

Discord receives approximately 1 million new accounts per month. Unless Transformice is trying to suggest their game comes even close in comparison, this update makes no sense. Deadmaze should not have been linked with Transformice accounts, it’s like they want the games to fail together. And creating this new system ruins individualism. I genuinely put thought and effort into my username and pride myself in knowing I’m the only one on the game with it. Perhaps if Transformice allowed older players to not have the # system, it would be slightly more fair. Even then though, I’m sure people can be more creative than just “Mouse” or “Soap”. I see 2018 accounts that have impressively good usernames, and it’s not like this game will even be active in five years.

Also, I think you should implement the idea of validated users as someone mentioned previously.

People can make their user official so people can no longer copy them by getting email validation. This would satisfy just about everybody I believe.

Can't you make a system where you delete accounts that are inactive for a certain amount of time??? That would fix most things.
