FR isn't going to do anything; When you gave them the dragon it's their's and they can do whatever they want with it, even exalt it. The moral of the story here is don't give away dragons you find special.

Besides, exalting a dragon is giving it the best home. Now no one can scatter it, mess it up, or put ugly skins/apparel on it. It'll be there with all it's majestic pleasure.

I can understand being pissed about a newbie exalting gift dragons... But you straight up emailed FR???

It's actually really looked down upon on FR if someone puts a no exalt rule on the dragons they're giving/selling, especially if selling for a low price. I recommend you don't do that and then people are less likely to actually exalt, since spite exalting is a thing and ohhh have I seen it.
Once someone gets the dragon, gift or not, it's theirs and they are free to do what they want with it. That is apparently the core rule of Flight Rising players.

Also, giving these restrictions to new players will give them the impression that exalting is bad, even though it's supposed to be the exact opposite. I've seen people stuck with dragons they don't like just because of that.
What people seem to do is put a "return to me if not wanted anymore" rule on dragons more special to them, but they still cannot get mad when the person forgets and exalts anyway.
Just... Just don't be one of these guys.

Well no, they won't. Once it leaves your nest it's not youru dragon anymore and they can do whatever they want. Sorry that happened though.
