It kinda looks like most of my friends in Bellocan are beginning to quit, or at least getting too busy to play anymore. Kinda considering making another character in a new world for more of a time passer.

Now that I'm playing the game, it's so hard to choose a class lol. Any ideas?

you should try any of the current classes while it's still available.

Ooh Maplestory, I used to play this for quite a while. My most recent character was a level 173 Mihile, though I mostly play MS for the neat soundtracks, especially Ellinia's *o*

I tried the luminous when I first got on and I honestly didn't like them. Other then that I've played the original demon slayer, Bowman, Dual blade, Mercedes, Aran, and I believe a Kaiser.. It's really hard to choose.

Decided I'm gonna try a Pirate - Gunslinger, if you need me or just want to chat I'm ShrapnelNip

To be honest I'm a bit disapointed in the beast tamer class, I maxed out the snow leopard tree and I'm currently at level 117. It's been a lot of fun but I honestly feel like it still lacks something.

The damage is actually pretty decent and I'm unfunded (I can hit for 100k on one skill, and the skills before that around 35k, and then basic attack combos can range from 20k - 45k). The Snow Leopard has some okayish crowd control too and by that I mean it can turn almost any map into a good grinding spot with the right skills.

But still, just something about it isn't really right to me.

I don't really like beast tamer.

I'm bored with the game right now because I don't want to continue joining random parties with people I don't know just to PQ for levels.

I got stuck on one of the main quests and didn't bother finishing it so all those quests litterally stopped coming in.

So i'm making a beast tamer, but i'm not sure about what build I should do, I was thinking the bear (The best bossing and most powerful animal) and the cat (Party buffs ftw)

I went with black, but the Leopard is good for grinding by the way. The cat I don't believe you unlock to level 60 and while party buffs are great, i don't really find it's attacks useful.

But that's jsut my opinion.

From what i've seen from the Beast tamer, I came up with this for the animals

Bear = Most powerful animal, best for bossing

Leopard = Best for mobbing, not the best for bossing however

Hawk = Moblity, useless for the most part (Darn it too, I was looking forward to the hawk)

Cat = Support, Basically replaces Bishop, also gets access to skills similar to other class's skills

Best combo: Cat + Bear

It's a real shame you can only have one up at a time and the skills only apply to you when you're using that animal.

Cat's useless in my opinion. Giving up the majority of your attacking potential for not so great buffs.

Hawk is convient for traveling, that's all.

Bear may be the most powerful attacker but you remain stationary and I want to say his skills have long cool down times.

Leopard in my opinion is a good all-rounder, it's not that hard to boss with it.

In my honest opinion.. If you want the max potential Beast Tamer has to offer you need to max bear and leopard first. Good boss and mobbing, then focus on support.

Cat's pretty good for partying, I'm totally maxing that out since I'm lazy to train at HoH and everything. Leopard seems a bit too fast, moving everywhere causing it to be hard to boss if you're pushing the boss causing it hard to hit. Although it is a very good mobber. Hawk is the useless one here, no point of adding points into it imo.
Bear is amazing! Most bosses aren't really knock-backed by his attacks, unlike the leopard.

I got the 135, funded it, and planning to get Dragon tail now.

Althought @ shadow, it seems a bit fair having only the skills for one animal, otherwise it would be too overpowered, considering having all those buffs into you.
