EDT is 4 hours behind of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)
So basically...EDT and EST are used in an inter-changable fashion if I am right...

Well...I'm in the timezone GMT+8, and I'm usually around from 7-7.40am and 7-8pm on weekdays, on weekends probably the whole afternoon. (And neglecting my hoework for a hour or two to play play play play)
