I honestly can't see why people think Cube World would be the same as Minecraft. It's not even close. The only similarities is the blockular experience and the world generation-type thing.
I mean, seriously. Cube World focuses on the objective of fighting. In Minecraft, it's more complex. In Minecraft, you mine, you craft, you build, you fight, you explore. I mean, come on. If you haven't played the game, don't judge it. I mean, it doesn't look like the type of game I would play, but it does look kind of fun. I just might try it out someday.

It is like calling COD and battlefield the same game because it is both shooting and similar graphics. Also cubeworld is a lot of fun, sadly the servers for it are kinda disapointing at the moment.

Due to all the bugs with quest finishing, everyone gets the exp. So you lvl up like 50 lvls if some high lvl dude is doing something somewhere else on the map.

Anyways, I haven't actually ever played Cube World, as I had said. But from what you say... Well... I don't know...

And to the COD/battlefield thing, you're right. I don't play those, either, but I've shot quick glances at my brothers when they play it.

I wonder, who here is actually playing the game? And who is watching lets play series of it? Maybe you know a nice channel to watch it on.

I know a bunch of bigger channels that do a lets play of it, but I can really recommend you to watch this youtuber Millbee here. It is a not as big channel but its really informative and critical. Also less directed at little kids than some channels, which is always enjoyable.

I lvled a bit, and decided to travel around a bit. Don't mess with nomads, learned that the harsh way. In the end I found this nice snow biome, I quite like it.

I've been playing Cube World quite a lot recently. Grinding gets really boring but overall it's a really nice game.

You don't need to grind at all, just travel the lands. And you are sure to lvl up a lot.

I'm sort of scared of traveling haha. I ran into this ogre thing which was bigger than a normal ogre and it killed me so fast. :'(

It might take you a entire day period ingame to get from city to city. But if you find a new biome its usually quite enjoyable, and the danger makes it exciting and less grindy. If you kill everything you can kill on your way, you lvl quite nicely ^^

Well it is still in alpha, so there isn't any storyline and advanced quests at the moment. So you know.
